I reckon Gomez will move on if not in the first 11.

Does this mean you think the Konate rumours are BS? Can’t see the owners in this climate spending c35m for a substituteI think Gomez will start back as a First XI defender, with Virgil, with the others made to 'earn' those spots.
I'm well into the LFC boom bust cycle but I am excited to see us start next season with VVD and Gomez at CB (or VVD and any CB) with Fabs and Hendo in CM.

Maybe - and it’s possible with the owners a little shame-faced they need to agree to his demands a bit. But given the finances I simply don’t see them spending big money on benchwarmers. See also, there is no Gini replacement incoming, they will say “we bought you Thiago. Crack on”We've seen this year just how loyal Klopp is though - and I suspect it might be a bit of 'learn the system' to the new kid along with not wanting one of his trusted players being benched.
I don't necessarily to agree with this - but we have seen Klopp's man management style in a new light this season, particularly with regards the likes of Mane, Davies, Naby, Ox etc.
Only way Gomez plays every game (until he gets injured). Is if he's in his final year of contract.I think Gomez will start back as a First XI defender, with Virgil, with the others made to 'earn' those spots.

Yeah - you clearly missed the “in this climate”.
Moneyball signing... Bought for 2.5 mill, plays a few cup games next year and then still him for 7 million oddWhere the fuck is Ben Davies ?
Yes, it was a bit tongue in cheek, I'll admit. But it's worth noting that some expensive players are signed with the expectation (or hope?) that they'll become first team players, and then they don't. So it's not really a case of spending £40m on a 'substitute', as such.Yeah - you clearly missed the “in this climate”.
Hard to believe we signed Ox 4yrs ago.

Add Phillips ... we've already seen that 4 dedicated CBs is not enough, we need 5.Sell Matip and then VVD, Gomez, Konate & Kabak is a good selection. We’re doomed for the Europa League so good chance for Konate & Kabak to play a lot there.
Well look where that policy got them this season ... 5th - 7th. I can't see them not learning from that, there is far too much money being lost to continue with that ideology.Maybe - and it’s possible with the owners a little shame-faced they need to agree to his demands a bit. It’s possible, but is that what they’ll really do? They were flush last year after our CL exploits and kept the wallet closed tight. What we’re saying now is that with a catastrophic drop off in cash, and looming prospect of no CL tv money, along with their financial nirvana of a Super League being snatched away, they will deepen those financial woes by going into the transfer market in a big way....Well look where that policy got them this season ... 5th - 7th.
