enrique is 3rd on our list of player of the year performances, he can't be playing that bad to warrant his replacing being a priority.

I don't get the Enrique hate either cause imo he's rarely at fault when we let in a goal. His space has saved us plenty of times this season.

That's the one, too bad Coutinho joined mid season. He shouldn't be in that list.
s snapshot of bias can't overrule consistent opinions during the course of the WHOLE season (coutinho never benefitted from the first part of the season).
But you're talking about a cumulative total - if it's an average based on amount of games played then its different.
I don't think he's been any better than Agger, Johnson, Downing, Allen & possibly Riena over the course of the season and contributed less that Coutinho, Sturridge, Carragher, Henderson & possibly Sterling.
... And I don't think we'll see any better from Enrique than we currently are.

In that thread about Rodgers building for the championship someone made a good point about a player who gives constant 7/10 performances being more valuable than someone that gives irregular 4,8,5,7/10 performances.
Both fullbacks are the second type, patches of form don't mask that. Enrique was shite for 3 months, played really well for a bit and now seems to be having an average finish to the season.
And just because he played the ball to Suarez for the Newcastle goal doesn't mean he's amazing and has a fantastic understanding with him, it was a long ball, Suarez made that goal.

Defensively, I believe Enrique has been our best player this season.
Enrique played pretty well 2nd half of the season, not the 1st half though. He needs to be much more consistent

I don't think he's particularly good at marking from setpieces and he is poor at cutting out crosses (like Johnson), but he's been pretty steady this year. I think we need better in both fullback positions in the long run, but I wouldn't prioritise replacing him just yet.
..... and you'd be wrong.... but then you have a "bit" of a blind spot when it comes to Carragher.
