The beginning of the end?

Errr, the point stands. Top item - relates to his time at Villa, irrelevant. Second item - the one thing it *doesn't* say is that his departure from LFC was due to a heart condition. Third and fourth items - assumptions made before the facts were known, later shown to be incorrect. The problem was a ruptured aorta (as that cardiologist makes clear), not a heart condition.

Haha.

You're splitting hairs (at best). And if it was nothing to do with the heart he wouldn't have been out in a coronary care unit

But if you want to dismiss Mark Lawrenson's opinion on everything based on his simplistic view of a complicated medical condition you're perfectly free to do so.

I didn't think it would go this badly for Moyes. It's surely getting to the point where he's in trouble.

It's just hard to see how things are going to get better for him. As they found out in the summer, top players aren't going to want to come to Utd to play for Moyes and now that situation will be worse.

He looks lost out there.

And it's not helped by the fact most of what would be considered the senior players are a good bit past their best. Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra.

There's a rebuilding job at hand there now

I don't get all the gloating. I think Moyes is doing a fantastic job turning Man U into Everton.

Really? I was well happy when they appointed him as i knew he'd do an Everton on them. Moyes is big time overrated for the 'ok' job he did at everton. Most Everton fans were more than happy to see him go because of negative style of football. Moyes is doing a 'souness' on manure and it's making good viewing.

Not so. A ruptured aorta is classed as a chest complaint. The aorta is connected to the heart but that doesn't make a ruptured aorta a heart condition.

As for Lawrenson, the point was - and remains - that he's a blowhard who chats sh!t on a regular basis. This was just one example.

A few things about this thread

1) I'm glad @RedStar managed to escape the evil forces around his father's sporting influences, and join the good side.
2) I would love this to be true - they're on a exceedingly slipperly slope. If they can miss out entirely on Europe, it would be great.
3) Slur Alex showed his genius by leaving before this year ... He knew it was ending.

Just like if someone is stabbed in the groin and they bleed to death it's not considered a heart complaint.

Is it true, what @the count said?

Another good thing about this that I don't think has been mentioned is that this is ruining whiskey nose's retirement.
