Thanks, anyone know the frequency I can tune into my Irish sky box to receive ITV2? Redshrek?
Here's the full details mate:

Freq: 10758
SR:22000
4/5

Cant remember exactly but dont think you need all those for the sky box, just freq perhaps, then it should find it hopefully.
Thanks a million Jon. Don't know why I didn't think of you first!
Sorry I didn't have a clue. Should of said.
No bother horse.
Just watch it on Irish TV?

Oh really?

Lucas + Poulsen > Lucas + Masher

Why, you ask and I answer obediently.

Poulsen is a better passer and more intelligent footballer than Mascherano hence he'll be able to create more when we're going forward. Lucas when played along side Masher is often looking mostly toothless as he asked to do a job he's not really capable of.

Poulsen alongside him in midfield will remove some of the burden on his shoulders to dictate and create play whilst beeing a commanding presence when asked to defend too. This could improve Lucas' play overall.

Remember some of Lucas' finest games has been slongside Gerrard who's obviously far better going forward than Poulsen, but it's still some of the same logic that could make this partnership tick more than we've been used to when Masher and Lucas paired up.

The more I think of it the more I'm sure Poulsen is a right steel and hopefully he's of to a flyer tonight and settles quickly. If he does so and Masher stays too they'd be an fearful CM-pairing really for any team.

Are Trabzonspor any good?
They are probably decent. A lot of money in Turkish football in general and it's always difficult to play at their ground.

The noise in Turkish stadiums makes the Vuvuzuela-buzzing sound like a pleasantly quiet whisper.

That's not a very convincing argument, khl. I'm reasonably optimistic re Poulsen, but a Poulsen-Lucas partnership inspires nothing but dread.

All I'm advocating here is that Lucas is better when not asked to do most of the creative-play. When played alongside Masher he's looked scaringly clueless and non-creative whilst not so much alongside more dominant players in a creative sense.

Poulsen could make him look a better play as he's more astute with his delivery and more intelligent when it comes to spreading out play and positioning. He will hopefully take some of the shackles of Lucas and let him play to his own strengths. Which is moving the ball around at pace.

I'm not saying it'll work at all maybe it'll be just as a depressing as watching Masher alongside Lucas but my guess is that we'll see a lot more of the ball and be a bit more creative from midfield.

Any argument trying to big up Lucas will come across as unconvincing mate...

There's always a light of hope however.

To me it really depends upon whether a) his heart is still in it; b) how much extra money we have left to spend; and c) what he's like in the dressing room.

You can point to his Arsenal performance - sure, but he's wanted out for a long time now and that could have a major effect at some point. That said, everything is dependent on another side valuing him correctly and stumping up the cash yesterday.

Could someone check that KHL isn't showing early signs of RAWKitis. 😉
That sounds terrible?

*strips naked and checks everywhere*

Ok I'm going to say it...

*goes full mental*

As a team we could be better off with Poulsen compared to Masher.

You'll just wait and see.

*logs on to RAWK*

Not next to Lucas though, regardless of how much better his passing supposedly is over Masher (and I have my doubts). Any combination of Lucas/Masher/Poulsen together sounds just horrible, and defensive and will breed plenty of sideways and backwards passing.

I don't think Lucas is meant to playing week in week out really.

Poulsen and Gerrard could be an awesome partnership. As soon as Poulsen find his feet and starts delivering he'll show everyone that he's a very good passer of the ball and a rather intelligent footballer too.

Fair enough I'll reserve judgement, he just looks like his best asset is kicking people, hard.

I don't know enough about poulsen to comment, but masher is phenomenal.
Yep, his energy and drive and determination will be the biggest miss when he goes.

Wow , it's sold out apparently.

Anyone got any spares for one of my lads?

regards

I was tempted to go but left it till yesterday to mention it to the missus (to take the kids). Gutted to miss out at that price 🙁

Yeah, crump mentioned that it was 10 pds in some thread but I didnt notice until day before yesterday (was too busy preparing for an interview for a job I didnt get)

('I don't think you have the sales experience to provide parties with a "mutually rewarding link" (TM)')

No shit, Sherlock, I'm a lawyer...why the fuck did you call me then.

Sorry, rant over.

Anyway, missed out.

Carra's game is 20 pds,Mark..I'm going for that.

Sometimes someone needs a kicking and he's often lining up to join the party. Masher is no boyscout himself mind and most defensive midfielders are prone to the rash challenge. Poulsen has become more mellow over the years it has to be said and that has really suited his game.
Oh, and his 'poor passing' is rather exaggerated in my opinion, certainly in the last 12 months.
I believe Masher has improved his passing too but there's still room for improvement of course.

Look I'd be as pleasantly surprised as anyone should he decide to stay but it's really not the end of the world should he leave. He's a very good player indeed but we as Liverpool fans has had a tendency to overrate him I'm affraid. A lot of friends of mine and people which opinion I rate doesn't think he is as good as we think.

They think he's a hard working tidy player but not nearly skilled nor technical shrewd enough to be talked upon as the best defensive midfielder in the world. I don't agree wholeheartedly as I think there's more to his game and on his days he's quite simply unplayable for any opposition.

I reckon the truth lies somewhere in between those arguments.
