Roy Hodgson risks angering rival bosses with plans to REST Liverpool stars for England

ROY HODGSON is considering resting members of England’s Liverpool contingent over the international break.

Roy Hodgson is planning on resting Liverpool stars for England
The England coach names his squad tomorrow for the Euro 2016 qualifier with Lithuania at Wembley on March 27 and the friendly with Italy in Turin four days later.
Hodgson is likely to release some members of his squad for the Italy game and must assess Anfield starlet Raheem Sterling, who is carrying a knock, before finalising his initial party.
Any favouritism to Liverpool could anger their Premier League rivals given how tight the chase for the top four is.
Tottenham’s Harry Kane will be handed a senior call-up.
