Robbo has looked jaded for a long time now. Incidentally, him and his mate on the other flank, Trent have both suffered dips in form at around the same time.
I’m on the fence about Robbo or Tsimikas against Spurs.
But it seems a strange time to me to be going on about Robbo’s form given since his injury and enforced break, he’s returned looking refreshed , in form and hungry?
I’m all for given Tsimikas credit for his performances and his crossing (with Nunez finding his feet) is increasingly a major plus, but Robbo’s last two games have been really good too.
Yes so can I @Bradley - but battering may not be enough, that bus they will park maybe able to take the hit of a Putin nuclear strike. I don't feel it, I know it.
Playing a diamond 4 4 2 against essentially 3-6-1 (which will transition into a 5 4 1 diamond) doesn't fill me with confidence that we're going to see a very good game today.
One heck of a midfield battle. 5 vs 3. Bobby will be forced to drop deep when Spurs have the ball, which is ok cos he's a good presser. Fabs will have to be on the top of his game today.
I'm expecting us to hit more long balls to our front 2. Gonna be a cracker this match. Buckle up.
Oh Bollox, no Curtis !!! - now this really pisses me off, that's why you guys never seen the best of him with all this dicking around with the midfield. Just watch TAA - going to be left defenseless.
