Sorry Ryan sorry Fabio but in all honesty i was keeping my moaning and whinging to a minimum in summer when trying express my not wanting of Downing. I began to get depressed about it as the price for a player i couldnt fucking rate in a million years kept going inexorably up and up while having the sick feeling in my stomach that we would indeed sign the cunt.

It took the shine of a good few weeks of my summer in fact.

I also began to dislike the voices of wisdom who wanted him signed on a personal level even though i dont know any of you internet folks in person.

I posted the tip of the iceberg trust me.... i bit my tongue almost....

All that aside there's no need to be bitter about it ..... it doesnt change anythung and wont help the team any so.... forget it move on and hope the useless obvioulsy overpriced "best we can do"[sup]tm[/sup]cunt proves us wrong.

As you can ive forgotten about it already 😉

How much do i think they were actually worth? 10 million for downing and 15 million for Carroll.

How much could we probably get? 11 million for Downing, 19 million for Carroll.

May as well keep them than take a massive loss.

They are not terrible footballers, we just overpaid to the tune of 30 million quid. Plus another 10 on Henderson.

Both players were very effective for their former clubs even if they have been average here, being kind.

Indeed. In the summer I remember being amazed. All the griping aside the elephant of a question in the room is do we trust Kenny and Commolli with transfer funds? It may well turn itself around yet and we can still possibly finish top 4 but IMO K and C have made 3 pretty massive transfer blunders straight off the bat.

I cannot for the life of me understand why we should the personnel in the team so much as to change our attractive playing style from the end of last season spend 55M and get worse on the pitch ... Anybody other than Kenny would be slaughtered for it.

That team of ours better start winning pronto .... Starting at the Bridge.

Interesting that its these two. Isn't Downing supposed to provide service for Carroll and Carroll supposed to benefit from good service?

Maybe its one who's a failure so far and the other would be doing better otherwise? So getting rid of both could be unnecessary?
