Haha them posts are to be expected when their main man looks like leaving. same for supporters of any club, they'll look for the positives of the said player leaving and naively think they'll be better off without him.
I'm happy about this signing if it comes off, a little concerned about the lack of goals but overall, we'd be getting a 22 year old who's got alot going for him. He looks a class little footballer, always wants the ball and rarely gives it away.

I watched him in the GB matches with great interest and he has that determined look about him that I used to associate with one of the Scums biggest cunt players - Gary Neville. I think he has a very good passing range and will keep the team ticking along in the same way that Alonso use to do for us as a deep lying controller. However, I am disturbed by the £15M price tag but then we paid that much (or maybe more) for Henderson. But I am pretty sure that he will not be fazed by the pressure of playing for our club - I can see him doing well. There is added value in this transfer in that Brendan knows him and he will know what Brendan wants in terms of playing style so it could be that this aquisition will get us quicker to play in the managers style than relying on existing players who will need time to get used to the system.
I'd expect so. He's meant to be brilliant.
