So, Joe Allen...

Those 6 signings dont include the British player tax, their all from other leagues.
Transfers in the Premiership always seem to drag on due to ridiculous valuation.

Wolves want 10 mill for Jarvis and Sunderland have bid 12 mill for Fletcher. Its fucking insane.

Hansern some people on here will make excuses for any fucking thing.

Heh, its not an excuse. We're to slow getting our targets from other leagues aswell. But transfers like these in the Premier league seem to go on forever.

Look at the last signins for the other top clubs from other Premier league clubs;

Cahill to Chelsea, Arteta to Arsenal, Nasri to City, Clichy to City. It happens LOADS of times.

Why Vlad?
Is this not the same way we fucked up signing Barry and Sigurdson amongst others.
While Arsenal go out and sign Cazorla, Podolski, Giroud, And Chelsea go sign Oscar, Marin and Hazard etc.
Were dawdly as fuck in the transfer window.
I don't think its the same circumstances at all either for the players mentioned or the clubs respective position in signing players

regards

Why though? Why would they care if we fucked off out of it?

Because no other club is going to stump up the money we were, and they will have had it spent in the case of Alan on half a team, and kiss 8m goodbye if they don't move Clint on now in the case of Fulham, its all fake posturing
regards

I suspect we're playing hardball & risking losing players we want so that we lose the tag of paying silly money on demand, that we gained last summer.

Hopefully it'll pay off, it's risky, but worth it in the long run.

Also, remember that the two men from city we've got coming in to work with Rodgers are still on gardening leave so we can't get them involved. As such the owners may want to hold off any big transfers until they are.

The whole loan comments thing makes sense looked at that way.

Swansea apparently preparing for life after Joe Allen

WANDERERS have rejected a £4million-plus bid from Swansea City for midfielder Mark Davies .

The Welsh club have targeted the 24-year-old as a replacement for Liverpool-bound Joe Allen but have been knocked back with their first attempt.

It is understood that the Whites will hold out for around £8m for the skilful playmaker, who is contracted to the club until 2015.

Davies played for the Whites against Tranmere Rovers last night, enjoying his best performance since returning for pre-season training last month.

But with upwards of £12million burning a hole in his pocket with the prospective Allen sale, Swans boss Michael Laudrup is likely to try again for the former Wolves man – who is also thought to have sell-on fees to his former club in his contract.

Davies arrived at the Reebok in 2009 for £1million up front but has gradually evolved into one of the key components of Owen Coyle's midfield, making more than 40 appearances last season.

It's a small miracle we aren't in for either.
No disrespect intended but these types of comments are becoming tedious and boring.

The DOF was sacked last season and we have a new manager who so far has acquired a striker from Italy's Euro squad 11m and baulked at signing a midfielder who ended up at Spurs because the player was demanding too high a salary.

Maybe an iota of truth there, but my like count was dwindling. Soz.

If (sorry) Pesam thinks he's worth every penny. I think he's worth every penny.

I wouldn't get excited about this bar the fact that Pesam rates the lad.
