So, Joe Allen...

C'mon Neal, it didn't affect us one little bit. Let them have their little petty moment, take it on the chin and move on.

More importantly, should we be a little concerned that Brendan goes against his initial word? 😱

Yeah it didn't affect us at all, but it would have been good for the lad to have 45 minutes "bonding" time before the season starts for real.

To be honest, calling them "bitter cunts" was a tad harsh. I'm not really THAT bothered.

Having said that, you make a good point about Rodgers.

Swansea have just got £15M for a player nobody had seen 12 months ago. They should be ecstatic. Their club wasn't worth that 3 years ago.

And I don't think he does have a point about Rodgers. He's doing what's best for himself and the club. With how football is these days, that's no bad thing. In fact, I'd say being a bit of a cunt is essential for any good manager.

Are you saying he hasn't gone back on his word? Because its there, in writing, all you have to do is look.

They only put the agreement in to save face with fans & ensure a higher price when we inevitably came in, it's arguable that it increases the price others will pay when they try to snatch players too.

If you think Swansea are massively upset you're mistaken, they simply want to absolve themselves of the sale by blaming big bad Brendan.

Well you saw his reaction to Suarez ripping their defence a new arsehole. Are you sure you want him to come after more of our players?
He usually does what he wants but him coming after our players will make them more determined. So I don't mind.

I don't see why some lads are going mental over the 15M we paid for Allen, he'll be worth much more in a season or two. wait and see.

Talking to a United supporting workmate today who's under the impression Joe Allen's a poor man's Henderson. Can't wait til he's proved wrong.

It would still make him one hell of a player though

Yeah, great work Coleman playing him the full 90 mins.
Looked tired aswell, guess he wont start on saturday.

Next time we have one of these stupid friendlies, before the kick off to the biggest league in the world :/, we should fuck em off and withdraw all of our players as injured.
