I want to make excuses but we should be realistic - we are not good enough to win these games not because of refs, but because we're not good enough, full stop. We cannot score goals - be it against Fulham, Swansea of Norwich. We need another goalscorer as Carroll isn't there (yet?), Suarez can't do it consistently in this league (yet?) and Dirk is cold for another 2-3 months or so.

I am just so disappointed ... Every top team won this weekend, and that's the bottom line.

Oh ... I wish Pat would stick to the General Chat forum. Every post he makes me wish I didn't like him.

[/quote]No mate, I think I said that I could see why Rodwell was sent off from the angle the ref was looking at it. I dont think Rodwell got the ball though. Spearing won the ball and as he was in the process of flinging himself at the ball the lad stepped across him. Again it wasnt pretty like and as DB says he was off the ground and those are often given but im not seeing that as a red at all. Im livid in fact.
