Two goals in two games some would argue he should of done better... Though I blame the defence for the 2nd he conceded against City leaving him too exposed...

My question is would of Pepe done better in the same situation ? Probably but then Pepe would then get beaten later on at his near post 😀

Overall how do you rate Mignolet so far ?

I thought he started off OK.. been key in some games.. but his form has taken a dip of late...

Great Shot stopper... Needs to do better with crosses and his distribution, although his distribution is starting to improve somewhat.....

He's the least of our worries, He's not perfect but sure no keeper is. He saved us a few points at the start of the season and will only improve. Can see him been at the club for a long time.

He'll know he should have done better for their second but he atoned for it with an excellent near post stop (strong wrist) from Eto'o

Hes starting to remind me of Given, he makes saves he has absolutely no right to make and looks superb, then gets beaten by a shot he really should do better against. Overall Ive still been hugely impressed by him and we have much bigger areas of concern

After those two goals he reminds you of Given. Thats harsh. He's a much better keeper than Given, who imho was very overrated.

perils of being a keeper, buck stops with you when you make a mistake.

Made a mistake against City but todays the wasnt same imho.
Its so close to goal that it gets difficult, but could obviously have done better.

Stepped up after that though and kept us in the game.
At 25 he's still young as a GK and will only get better.

Its a shame but in 2 of the biggest games this season we've conceded 4 soft goals.

He's been playing well, and is much an improvement on Reina. He should have done better with those 2 shots, but he's saved some other crackers that others would have let in.
