So odd ... I hope he resurrects his career just because he's quite the talent. Pity it didn't work here, but that's the luck of the draw for these loans. Hopefully, Neymar will be more successful with us.

Has anyone provided any insight as to why he is been moved on?

He hasn't been shit by any means, simply hasn't played? Can only assume he hasn't been putting in a shift during training?

I just hope he doesnt go to another Premier League club and tears it up. Arsenal were interested in taking him on loan too.

The sooner he goes the better. Costing us money when he's never going to be used unless we have a seriously huge injury crisis.

I still hope he get's his chance, proves his worth and we sign him up. We have been crying for these kind of players for a long time, now we got one- let's try him.

Liverpool want to cut short Nuri Sahin's season-long loan spell from Real Madrid.

Liverpool want to send Sahin back to the Bernabeu early because he has lost his first-team place after making a bright start to his Anfield career.

The Reds beat Arsenal to the Turkey midfielder's signing in August because they were prepared to cover a sizeable chunk of his £115,000-a-week salary.

Liverpool are keen to reduce their outgoings and feel it makes sense to get Sahin off their wage bill if Brendan Rodgers feels he no longer needs him.

Sahin did not even make the squad for Sunday's FA Cup tie at Mansfield and has struggled to adapt to the pace and physical nature of English football.

Liverpool need Sahin and Real's agreement to cancel his loan and both are likely to acquiesce because the player and the Spanish club need him to play regularly.

Sahin's former club Borussia Dortmund are interested in re-signing him, but may struggle to pay his wages."

Good news. He's not cut out for the premiership at all. Anyone can see he struggled with the physical side of things.

Great player at Dortmund but I do wonder whether his current form is a result of his injury and time at Madrid. Default assumption seems to be that he's struggling with the pace and physicality of the Premier League but it's not like it's light years ahead of the Bundesliga in that regard.

I'm sure I've read comments this morning from Dortmund stating they wouldn't be interested, but I can't find them now!

I would disagree. I'd feel the wages are the reason he has to go. I'll make no apologies for saying I thought he'd be great for us. If you look at players like Silva for example who were a bit lightweight or not up to it in their first season here but once they settled became excellent. If Rodgers has identified Sahin as a similar case then it doesnt warrant him being here to settle into a league in which he wont participate in next season. I still maintain he'll become a world class midfielder for years to come, pity it will be somewhere else.

If Mata, Silva etc can make it in the Prem I'm not sure why Sahin can't. Hasn't been given a chance and probably more to do with shipping him out so we can get wages freed up for someone else!
