Recalling Players

The high intensity, high pressing game played by Klopp requires a fit squad which can handle the strain. The only way I think we can maintain such intensity is to have a big squad and recall some of our loaned players. The question is who should get recalled?

Kent and Wilson are young, hungry, confident and very fast. They'd flourish being guided by Klopp and his staff. Ojo is another who'd progress quickly.

If Lazar wants to terminate the contract and Fenerbache agrees, then it could obvs happen.

Lazar would be perfect in this formation and playing under Klopp, imho

Liverpool FC boss Klopp considering whether to recall Markovic in January

Lazar Markovic holds off a challenge from Aleksandar Kolarov.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will consider the merits of recalling winger Lazar Markovicfrom his loan spell at Fenerbahce in January.
It has emerged that the Reds do have the option of cutting short the Serbia international’s season-long stay in Turkey during the winter transfer window.
Klopp is an admirer of Markovic and must decide whether the 21-year-old attacker would be better served returning to Anfield for the second half of the campaign or continuing his development in Istanbul until next summer.
Markovic moved to Fenerbahce back in August after a disappointing first season at Liverpool following his £20million move from Benfica.
He struggled for confidence as he scored three goals in 23 starts in all competitions. However, his cause wasn’t helped by being played out of position at times by Brendan Rodgers.

Markovic has proved to be a big hit with the supporters in Turkey. Markovic played a vital role in their 2-1 win over Bursaspor last month before a back injury left him on the sidelines for three weeks.
He returned to action in their 1-0 victory at Kayserispor last weekend.
Fenerbahce, who are paying 100% wages of his wages this season, don’t have the option to buy Markovic.
Liverpool were always insistent that the switch to Turkey was simply to get him regular game-time and Klopp is likely to give Markovic the opportunity to belatedly kick-start his Reds career.

Heh, he's been written off pretty quickly by some.
Was considered one of the bigger talents around before we bought him. Doing very well in Turkey.

Klopp seems to rate him and will hopefully get the best out of him. The lad can be ace if given time and played in his natural position.

He's a £20 million investment. If played in the right position with the right guidance he has the potential to be great.
I was in Lisbon when the news broke we signed him and every fan I spoke to said wtf £20mil way way ott. A signing of Lovren dimensioned shiteness

I hate myself for giving up on him so soon and would love him to be the next Messi but I can't see him make it here. Chelsea could have signed him for half what we paid, but didn't rate him enough to scoop him up and loan him out. We wuz raped

That's the same Chelsea who sold Matic as a makeweight for Luiz to Benfica then bought him back for £21m.

And bought Kevin de Bruyne for £7m sold him for £18m but he was then re-sold for £54m.

Markovic is too young to be judged, to me he has been disappointing as a winger (no genuine pace or trickery) but has good passing skills and movement so could develop into a decent midfielder.

Didn't we buy him as a winger though? Chelski can afford those fuck ups - we patently cannot.

That's the point, they were not fuck ups they were good players who were discarded too early before they matured.

Because they paid a fee

Well called @Mors well called.

Markovic has suggested that his issues on Merseyside were down to Rodgers, and there now could be a future for him under Klopp.

"I didn't have a good relationship with the coach," he told Portuguese newspaper A Bola. "That was a problem. I played in many positions but didn't play in mine.

"I do not look at the past, and Liverpool have a new coach."
