The fixtures in this mini run are getting tougher now. However Villa have been terrible this season when playing multiple games in a week.

I can’t believe that all of Gravy Macca & Szobo played 90 today. For me 2 of these need to start on the bench.

Gravy & Endo had 20 mins as a pair today so i think that’s good prep to start this one. Macca looked shot and Szobo needs to be at full strength for City & Newcastle.

Trent should be nowhere near the starting line up, and Robbo was also brain farting & needs the rest. Our full backs used to be our greatest asset and they’re now our greatest liability.

I’d be looking to get Szoboszlai off ASAP as he and Mac are completely shagged. Endo for Gravenberch too.

Salah should be dropped. I can’t see us getting away with indulging a player who can remain out of the game for 85+ minutes. Our midfield is already running on low covering the additional ground and we need everyone to put in their shift. Not their own plus more to cover Salah. We also need to have everyone involved to keep control of the game because the last two games we’ve not done that for any great length of time.

A tactic that would have worked if he'd looked across the line because he took the 'goal' superbly. I hated the tactic but it very very nearly paid off.

They've not been overworked recently, with adequate rotation, so strongest team for this one at least.

Noticably no love for trent in this thread after another shocking performance with his passing. Almost as if he wants us to lose at points...
