We leave Southampton with players rested and useful minutes for injury returners.

Nunez played 90, so i wonder if Diaz starts centrally.

However i’m predicting

Alisson

Trent
Gomez
Virgil
Tsimikas

Gravy
Macca
Jones

Salah
Jota
Diaz

Spurs without Vicario, Romero & Van de ven.

Ali
Trent
KONATE!!!!!!!! I think he’s back for this.
Virgil
Robbo
Gravy
Slobby
Jones
Salah
Jota
Diaz

Rested players all come back in : Ali, Virgil, Robbo, Gravy, Szobo, Jones, Salah and Diaz. Then fill in the blanks (hopefully Momo is right and it's Konate - if not then Gomez), Jota and Trent.

Team picks itself apart from Robbo/Tsimakis at LB and Slobbers or CJ in midfield alongside Gravy & Mac.

Line up is pretty straightforward. Obviously Szobo will start over Jones.
Jota will probably start too, since Nunez played 90 mins.

We have to win this game and I think we will.

Is Robbo not available for this one having missed the Fizzy Pop Cup match against the Saints? Arne served his suspension tonight for his card at the weekend.

Spurs are fast starters who fade. We are slow starters who get better. I wonder if either will try to adapt? It would certainly be nice to go out of the traps quickly

Our LB and Kulusevski is my main worry, but as said, I think we'll be fresher across the park and that will be key. We need all the points. That's 4 dropped in two games so it's time to get back to winning ways.

Hopefully the Bitters can do another job on Chelsea this weekend. Both Palace and Villa can take points off Arsenal and City at home, so I'd be very confident there will be more dropped points from the title rivals this weekend.

This needs to be all about us winning. We need to be getting points when our rivals drop. I am mildly confident but they have players who can be clinical on their day in Son, Solanke, Kulu and Johnson. Even Maddison is in some form. But their weakness is every player behind that.

Uh oh. That's seems like too many wishes when it's not your birthday !

Tottenham must pray for Forster

Both Tottenham and Liverpool have suffered injuries to their first-choice goalkeepers this season, with Fraser Forster and Caoimhín Kelleher excellent in deputising for the sidelined Guglielmo Vicario and Alisson. While Liverpool were fortunate to escape the injury to Alisson largely unharmed – with Kelleher performing well and avoiding an injury of his own – Tottenham now face an anxious few months as Vicario recovers from a fractured ankle. Tottenham’s back-ups to Forster include Brandon Austin and Alfie Whiteman, who have one senior Spurs appearance between them. Ange Postecoglou will be desperate to ensure that 36-year-old Forster – whose contract runs out at the end of this season – can maintain his own form and fitness, or else the manager may have another problem to contend with. Same guy who referred the Southampton away game.
What happened to Oliver has he been demoted or something?

Slot mentioned that only two players are currently missing from training.
Obviously he's referring to Konate and Bradley.

Not to tempt fate but hope those dick heads in VAR control room are having extra training above anything else for this one.

They are currently on a crash course
