Lads, as badly as we played and as woeful as several of the side were today, we didn't win it purely because our keeper made an unfathomable mistake at the very end, and because our "striker" missed from ON THE LINE. That's all. That's why it's one point, not three.

I just finished the game as I’m on the west coast of Canada and had work late. It’s been a minefield dodging the score all day.
I’ve seen a few people not fussed or don’t believe this Salah situation is a laughing stock that better have watched this game. At times he’s our only goal threat. Frankly, I could never see Nunez in a Liverpool shirt again and die a happy man. I’ve had enough of this “He works hard”…so does a plumber. I believe tonight is the night he lost Slot.
Hard to give Kelleher a hard time, he’s been wonderful for us. Alison has the occasional shocker, I just believe this is gonna be a costly one for him, people just don’t seem to believe in Kelleher.
First half was a bit of a shocker, but hard to go again after City and Madrid. We clearly need one more midfielder. Second half much better and we deserved the 3 points.

Thats why Neville shouldnt be an expert for our games. Why would anyone pay money to listen to that bias against us…

Worth pointing out that Arsenal lost at St James Park. A point after a disastrous first half and a massive keeper fuck up at the end isn't so bad. It just places increased importance on the Everton game.
I lost some confidence when I saw the lineup. Not just the Trent omission but lacking Diaz and Szobo there were too few players who will give run hard enough.
Newcastle had been dropping points but it was never down to work rate. Maybe Slot didn't expect the high press, which they did pretty well, TBF. We had no answer to it and looked baffled.

They pressured the right players, Gravy and Van Dijk. Pretty much found us out, but we adjusted and came out stronger in the second half.
These last few games before the end of the year are going to be pure agony because we don't have any replacements.
I really hope Jota and Chiesa are back soon.

I just don't understand why we didn't get Endo straight on. We were pushing for a winner - Endo should have been kept warming up so that the second the ball hit the net we chucked him on at the kick off. Just so avoidable.

Heres how I see it..
We seem to creat less when we start Gakpo, Nunez Salah,
More when it is Diaz, Nunez Salah..
If we play Gakpo I would play him through the middled i.e.
Daiz,Gakpo,Salah
When Gakpo comes on as a sub he feels he has more to prove, and tries harder
TAA should have started Fullstop
But if not Slot should have gone with Gomez as RB from the begining and Quansah as CB

Thought the same. As soon as the 3rd goal goes in Darwin should be off and Endo on.
We were sloppy all game though and the free kick was so avoidable with better concentration.
Wasn't a good team performance, all the players + Keeper were awful, very wasteful up front and not only Núñez all forwards including Salah, none of couldn't get the ball to stick, awful passing and losing the first and second ball so easily, however, we should have won, but only to very bad mistake by the Keeper, mind you he has kept us in many games in the past. Just unlucky with that bad which cost us two points, whilst Chelsea is narrowing the gap so quickly, they have an easy coming games, but we have a tough run of games. We just cannot drop points. and it is a must win against Everton!
You’re not seriously comparing Nunez and Salah right now are you? Salah has been immense this season…Nunez has been largely lost and ineffective.
Salah misses a sitter then does something incredible…Nunez misses a sitter then…misses another…misplaces a pass etc etc
I’ve defended Nunez more than most and so wanted him to fulfil his potential, but we’re in a position where there’s too much to lose to carry his inconsistency and inability to finish key chances.

If you add in the issue that, despite their qualities, Diaz and Gapko aren't that prolific either, it's something that has to give sooner rather than later. I appreciate his hardwork and his attitude and everything, but everything he touched last night turned to absolute shite, and it's becoming the norm.

It should have been though. It was obvious he's a bad fit and Chelsea wanted him.

Couple games back many here was singing his praise, and now we have lost a game,( which he worked hard in, and had no real clear cut chances, he is suddenly the Donkey again and a shit player... Watch some replays and see just how many times that he makes a run looking for that early ball that never seems to arrive
And how many goals and assist has Nunez, and a fair few of them assist as fell Salah's way

And Last season? 7assists
Other than when he missed an empty net from ON THE LINE, you mean? Or when the ball fell to him about 8 yards out, and his 'shot' went closer to the corner flag than to the net. Or.....
