Pre Match Pre Match - Everton (A) - Weds 19:30

Diaz needs to come off, or gakpo does and Diaz move to the left. Don't care. We need a fucking 9 on the pitch

Diaz is garbage, few players need to step up, but i can see early changes because of the cards gobshite Oliver has dished out

Maybe. He presses like a demon though and that might help Salah and gakpo get more involved
Well Jota does that too. You know he can be nasty too. That's how he gets injured most of time it seems.

I despise the fact slot prefers Diaz as a 9. He'll try his best but he's not the answer there

I'd rather keep Gakpo on - he's in goal scoring form and Diaz keeps coming inside whenever he gets the ball. Nunez for Diaz S.v.P

He can be nasty, but we don't need nasty. We need strength and we need high intensity in the press. We need to force an error

In fairness to the Bitters, they've played well and Moyes has them well set up. Not convinced Diaz is the man at 9. I don't think Gakpo has done much either, so one of them can be hooked by 60.

Slot is blessed with options tonight. Nunez, Jota, Trent are three huge match winners and we'll need one of them.

But that has been an utterly shite match. They are loading the front 5 but not pressing, hence we are not playing through them. Oh and I HATED Ali standing there with the ball for 20 secs - they are more than happy to reduce the match to 30 mins each way, the more time the ball is in play the more likely we are to score.

We need more pace and energy 2nd half.

For me it seems that anytime we play Gakpo and Diaz together up fronk we seem to produce less of a goal threat
would hook one of them, (on this occassion Diaz) bring Jota, and if necessary replace him later on with Nunez

Positives though, Bradley looks fired up like a born and bred Scouser. Szob is pressing like a demon. Ibou and virg seem up to the physical battle. Macca has been brilliant.
