So this morning driving to work with my iPod on shuffle my brain suddenly decided that we would only win in Saturday if I clicked forward and found a Richard Thompson song before I reached the roundabout where I get stuck in traffic every day. Was touch and go and I was clicking like Cliff Richard's hip, but just made it. Then my brain said I had to click back to a Beatles song. Mission accomplished. So it will be close and go to the wire but things are looking good.

Hahaha ! That's worse than me .... or similar at least. One of my many foibles is when watching us I can not switch the AC on/off because that would reverse the flow of the game so I remain hot/cold until HT/FT.

If I'm heading home in the car to watch the game and we're winning or playing well, if the other team gets a goal or even starts putting us under sustained pressure I turn the telly off and revert to the radio. It is a tried and tested system with at least a 50% success rate.

It works in reverse too. In the 1-4 win at OT we were having a shit first half and had gone a goal behind. I turned on the telly after parking up at my house to see Gerrard lining up a penalty and with the news that Vidic had been red carded. And the rest is history.
What sort of "Toys" are we talking about here?
