The bench made the difference tonight, you can argue about who should be in the starting lineup till the cows come home but when you can bring on all that quality there no one to fear out there.

Subs made all the difference. Kounate MOTM for me, but props to Bobby, Keita and Mo (didn't go too much for him in 1st, but hell of a shift from him) too

Konate was great. I think he's going to continue to be our go to CL defender when there's not a quick attacking line up.

Elliott looked a little over awed but he's 18, you expect that.

Thought Diaz looked lively again when he came on.

Overall I don't think anyone can be unhappy with a 2-0 away win but I wish we went for the killer blow, they were there for the taking.

Excellent win. Hard fought, under pressure but dug deep.
After Bobbys goal we showed what a great team we are. Klopp spot on with the subs and just a marvellous away night.

Virgil and Konate. Wow. Fantastic.

Jota came off with an ankle injury. Swollen. Maybe ligament damage.

Crap, hope it's nothing major. But this shows an advantage of quality on the bench – our most in-form forward comes off with an injury and his replacement scores a decisive goal. This is how big teams tend to win.

Feels lovely to have a decent bench.

Levels the playing field against the oligarch/oil teams.

And Klopp then de-levels it 😀

Any thoughts on Hendo's performance at DM? I think he held his position well and made the ball move quicker and that was what we needed against the tiring Inter players (while we have brought on fresh attackers). That triple-substitution by Klopp really changed the flow of the game from one where we were hanging on to no-contest.
