Neither is incorrect. "Wrong" is much more common is this context, and perfectly acceptable.

On a separate note: how you get such an easy ride on here is baffling to me. You're so smug, and yet so stupid. Your forum moniker should have been enough to get you booted in the first instance - it's so unbelievably inane.

In the old days you'd have been hounded off here in a few weeks. I miss those days.

Come on Del ... he's not that bad.

Allen definitely faded in the second half. He was terrific when we were dominating. Not sure whether we were overrun because we were tired, or because we were outnumbered or because of the defense moving back (or all three). The defense definitely seemed to move ten yards back in the second half and Southampton players started to pop up in the massive space between Allen/Can and the center halves. At one end of the pitch we had Skrtel who seems to like to defend from our own penalty spot, and at the other we had Benteke who likes to stand on the opposition's penalty spot when we attack. That leaves a lot of space in between for the midfield to manage.

Big question marks on some of those players.

Allen is looking like an impact player at best, we were weak in the middle in the second half.

His miss was awful, after hendos miss midweek, it makes you wonder how technically short some of the best of British players are
Allen is technically short.

So easy to hate someone on the net isn't it ?

Origi is very promising but he needs to lose his Arsenal-ness. At 2-0 he starts back heeling to no one, taking the piss, or trying to, when a pass to feet would have resulted in a shot. One of several showboating bits of shite that need stopping until we're at least 5-0 up.

Hes not alone there, Lallana and Can have a terrible habit of over complicating things for themselves trying to be flash. Its like a boxing match where a guy gets cocky and starts showboating then ends up getting clocked on the jaw and the next thing you know hes lost

We're 2-0 and cruising, skrtel comes on gives away a pen, then has a hand in the 3 we let in the bellend.
Hard to pick out a good performance today, I thought lovren and sakho we 'ok' but we were just not at the races today.

Skrtel shouldn't have come on. Klopp's fault.

We looked tired and needed to shore up the game. Sturridge should've come off for a midfielder.

Very disappointing but I guess this is what we've come to expect from Liverpool.
Why did Skyrtel come on? Was Lovren injured?

How did he have a hand in the three we let in? Calling him a "bellend"?

Sakho was the covering player for all three goals and couldn't muster a single challenge, he wasn't "ok" at all, he was fucking dire, so was Lovren before he got hooked. He was getting left for dead by Shane fucking Long. At least Skrtel had an excuse in that it was his first competitive game in months. Lovren was shite for most of last season and Sakho is completely overrated.

Yeah, Top 4. Yeah, Klopp is making previously mediocre players into world-beaters. Yeah, we don't need to spend much money in summer. Yeah, Lovren and Sakho are good enough. Yeah, yeah yeah.

I was very nervous as soon as I saw the team-sheet, and the result was everything O feared. Yet more evidence of the scale of the job required and the amount of players we have who do not merit a place in our team. Klopp needs a new GK, a new CB, a new CM, a new AM/ winger and a new striker - he doesn't rate Benteke and Origi isn't very good.

And Klopp selected the wrong team and made the wrong changes too late. He was poor today. We got what we deserved: nothing.

Mignolet (6) great penalty save, but still too many moments of nerves that can infect the rest of the team

Flanagan (4) Captain for the day, but looked sluggish and out of his depth. Clyne should not be moving to LB to accommodate Flanno, as he's a better player on this form.

Lovren (3) just all over the place, he shouldn't be allowed to play at this ground, as he's a fucking liability and his head goes. Rightly subbed, but who knew what disaster would follow?

Sakho (5) very ordinary. I know he's a cult hero and everyone loves how weird he looks and loves his passion. But he's always got a nightmare display in him, and we simply need more cool, calm and composed defending. He was nowhere near Mane for the goals.

Clyne (6) one of our better players, but shouldn't be playing at LB really. We missed Moreno's pace and attacking power

Can (6) overwhelmed like everyone else in the second half and needed support that he didn't get in time, as Southampton took total control with Wanyama running things

Allen (5) missed an easy chance and had another disallowed, but showed very clearly why he shouldn't be starting games; he is too weak physically and is easily overwhelmed. Atrocious second half and should have been hooked earlier

Lallana (6) this was a big improvement in his last display here in the league, and he was busy and creative. Still never looks like scoring though

Coutinho (7) splendid goal yet again, he is adding far more destructive elements to his game and becoming a more effective and dangerous player

Sturridge (7) a marvellous finish, and such quick feet, but like earlier in the week, he seems to have stopped making those runs in behind defences and wants to stroll his way through. Dangerous and our best striker, but not at 100%

Origi (6) lots of movement and eager to work hard, but yet another game in which his obvious lack of genuine scoring ability was apparent. Never remotely looked like getting a goal. Should not be starting games for Liverpool.

Subs:

Skrtel (0) oh dear. Looked a million miles away from being ready to play in this game, and his 45 minutes will go down in LFC history as one of the most calamitously inept defensive displays ever. Gave away a penalty and then spent the rest of the game blundering a round like a man having an epileptic fit in a football pitch. Possibly career-ending.

Klopp (3) wrong team, wrong tactics, wrong subs, wrong time. Dismal.

If you can't see that skrtel was directly involved, or even at complete fault, for any of the goals then there's no hope

He was a fucking monumental liability

Well, we clearly were until the second half. In the first half we could have had six. It wasn't like the games when we started flat and never got going.
Exactly. I simply can't understand people saying we got what we deserved etc., if we had got what we deserved the match would have been over by HT. The 2nd half calamity was down to Skrtel and lethargy brought on by playing twice as many games as Southampton in the past 11 days, and 10 games more than them so far this season. Now if Southampton had started Wanyama and Mane maybe that wouldn't have been the case but we really shouldn't have given them a chance to turn it around.

Whatever Fabio, try reading what I said for once
I did, and whenever skrtel gets mentioned you're intent on bringing sakho in to it.

Sakho was effectively covering for skrtel and continually spreading himself to thin

Could he have thrown a block in? Maybe, but then he's selling himself for the defender to go round him.

Yes skrtel wasn't fit, and yes he usually is good for us, but to pump sakho in with every criticism skrtel is getting is t ridiculous

We played excellent in the first half, rubbish in the second. Klopp deserves a lot of credit but he shouldn't gamble in important games. Skrtel instead of Toure was a gamble. If Lovren can't handle the pressure being on a yellow then he shouldn't be playing for us at all.

We also missed Moreno today. When he play the opposition can't attack as much on the wings because they must stay back. He isn't that great in his own half but his offensive runs means less attacks against us.

People quick to blame Skrtel here. Way harsh in my view. I’d put this at Klopp, or the coaching staff’s feet. He clearly was not ready to play premier league football – who made the call that he was good to go after trundling round once for the reserves after months out? The blame’s on that person.

Skrtel – who I’m no big fan of whatsoever – has had good games for us in the past, and at times has held that porous defence together. He gets cut some slack in my view.

Yet again, Sakho did fuck all. He’s got no excuse. One good backs to the wall display in midweek when his fucking flawed technique of just fucking himself onto the ground and hoping some limb connects with a ball somehow managed to work. Asked to actually defend today and manage the basics of tracking a runner, not letting him turn, and blocking a shot – and he fucking crumbles.

18.5 million or whatever amount of fucking pounds worth of absolute dogshit. He’s fucking terrible. If you think that hapless cunt is a beast or a cult hero, you should be supporting teams in lower leagues.

Skrtel has over 300 appearances for us and 70+ international appearances. It shouldn't really be a risk but unfortunately he was shit today.

Thats the point - from what I could see on a shitty stream - there was acres of space for the likes of Coutinho and co to do there stuff - they should have been more clinical and finished the game off in the 2nd half. We all know from the Sunderland game that 2-0 is not good enough for our inconsistent defense. These players are really thick - winning games is not actually enough for them - they need to win and score loads when the chance is there on a fucking plate like in the first half. Then be shit and concede three goals in the second half.

I haven't read this thread yet but going by the match thread I think people need some perspective.

Everyone has been telling me I'm super negative lately, I haven't been, just realistic.

We have been on a superb run and if we had beaten Southampton it would have been the first time 12 months we won league games on the bounce. It was always going to be hard when it's clear the squad lacks strength and quality in depth.
Southampton have been in excellent home form and have a superb attack.
Don't forget we played one of our biggest games of the season Thursday night, the boys were tired and it showed in the second half.
We've played more games than anyone else.
Like always the reason for the anger is because we had unrealistic expectations of 4th.
We've simply left ourselves too much to do before the last few weeks of great results.
In terms of the players our back four weren't great but giving Skrtel shit in his first game back is laughable. He shouldn't have been put on as it was always going to be a long second half at the back.

We are at the beginning of building a great side and it will take seasons not months. Once you realize that these results will be a lot easier to take.

Shane Long is quick, I don't know why you think it's so dire to get beaten in a foot race by him.
The world champions suffered the same problem when they came to Dublin
