Remember City bottling it at home to QPR, yeah they won in the end but that was a bottle job for 90 mins, there is still a chance, we have to make sure of those 6 points and hope they get jittery again.

West Ham are hardly safe. They're on 37 points, and Villa, West Brom and Sunderland all have a game in hand on them.
Their next game is Tottenham, so if they lose that, they could well be needing a result on final day.
I'd hope both Villa give City a game as well considering they aren't necessarily safe yet either.

Don't think Everton's really a hope unless Newcastle gets a result against Arsenal tomorrow. That'd make things very interesting.

that's the point though -- it has been obvious for a while.
That we had won 11 games on the run and still hadn't gained enough breathing space to lose a single game was ominous.
We blew our load at city (gerrard was in fucking tears) and they will win they league now.
and those city celebrations (particularly gerrard's) are going to look fucking tragic for many years to come.
Mignolet was solid although he should've made a catch earlier instead of punching it. Made a couple of great saves.
Johnson was shite. I lost count of how many times he gave it away.
Skrtel and Sakho were solid.
Flanno was very iffy today
Gerrard was totally off his game. Nothing went right for him. The slip which led to the first goal just totally summed up his day.
Lucas was shite. Him and Gerrard in the same team doesn't work.
Allen had some bright moments but was largely disappointing. Not a big game player IMO.
Coutinho had a couple of bright spells but never influenced the game the way he sometimes does.
Sterling was our best player. Easily.
Suarez was quiet again. He's gone off the boil lately.
Sturridge May as well have stayed on the bench for all he contributed. At fault for the last goal too.
Aspas the cunt can fuck right off. That corner kick was a disgrace. We needed an equaliser and he goes and does something like that.
The entire Chelsea team were awful to watch. They didn't play football at all. A 300 million team wasting time in the first minute? Disgraceful.
Atkinson didn't do us any favours but I don't blame him for the defeat. Not taking action on all the time wasting until the 93rd minute was a joke.
Bottom line: We weren't good enough.
