Post match disappointment and anger in here

His 'objective' mask has definitely slipped of late to reveal a massive slobbering manc-shaped cunty cunt.

A few interesting points from that analysis from Carra and Neville.

They feel Rodgers got his tactics wrong first half and second half. We were playing with naivety against a team obviously playing direct football.
We can't complain about time wasting as we've done it ourselves many times to our advantage.
Madrid changed their normal possession heavy style and tactically allowed Bayern to have 70% , in order to get the result in a big game.
Chelski have the 2nd most shots this season, and the 3rd most goals - not exactly mourinho defensive football
We had 21 shots from outside the box, and put in 29 crosses into the box considering we dont have a 'big man' playing up top

If that was the analysis then they're a pair of dopey cunts.

Attacking a team = naive?
Chelsea weren't defensive because they have taken lots of shots this season?

Pure retarded nonsense. As a general rule, if it's mentioned on sky its not analysis
analysis. It's clichéd bullshit, they are the Hansern of analysis.

Since the match I havent watched any tv or read any papers. Only watched what ive downloaded. Still totally deflated by losing to those plastic cunts. Can't see everton doing us of all teams a favour. But im glad rodgers has made us an attacking team and love his philosophy. If we can improve our fullbacks and buy 2 CM's so the likes of allen and especially lucas see a lot of bench time I'll be happy going into next season.

I wouldn't necessarily consign Joe Allen to the bench. Like Jordan Henderson he's a young player who has been improving all the time and has had some great matches lately.

The thing is hendo has made a HUGE improvement from the player he was. Allen to me is pretty much the same player we bought. He's improved defensively, but offers very little going forward and still doesn't have a big enough presence on the pitch. He's like a hendo-lite and is good enough for our bench but i wouldn't want him starting regularly. Our team has gone up a level, and players like hendo and sterling are the level we're at now and allen is being left behind. Just from these 2 games alone you can see the huge difference of having no hendo has made to the team.

Let's not forget Allen has been really unlucky with injuries; he's not been able to get a good enough spell of games to play himself into undroppable form like Henderson has, other than in the first couple of months last season. Just this season alone, Henderson has started 34 league games - that's the same number of games Allen has started in two seasons.

Hopefully, he'll be able to address his fitness issues in the off season and step up for the new season.

After suffering and moping for 3 days, I have decided that we have to sacrifice all out attack for dogged defense in order to face the big teams in order to keep at least a point. We attack the minions!

No, we really, really don't.

We need to be a bit more astute, such as taking the 'pass around the back' rule we play with & adapting it to circumstances. It's great playing that to bring sides out & to open space up, but when that isn't gonna happen cos of how they're determined to play, or is needless cos it's a minute towards the end of the half, then maybe let those old instincts to hit it long take over.

There's only one 'big side' we've failed to beat using our tactics, so it's needless considering changing it wholesale for that reason alone.

Agreed, and against Chelsea we were singularly unfortunate in that we didn't get any of those lucky breaks you need to beat a packed defence.

Everton aren't out of the race for fourth yet, nor will their professional pride let them throw the game against Citeh.

This is not over.

I've been trying to cheer myself up since Sunday's result and have decided that I'm going to change history.

I now believe that we actually lost to Stoke in January and have been playing catch up since. Our victory over Chelsea last Sunday puts in a position that if we win our last two matches we can only lose the league on goal difference. Come on Everton.
