That's a bit harsh on morons ... Barclay is way worse than that.

For the first time like ever I was feeling quite convinced throughout the game that we'd probably win it. Ok, it got a bit late, but there's just so much class in our attack these days that you "know" they'll just score one more than the opposition.
Obviously Suarez is our star man but I have to say I can not recall a better finisher in our team than Sturridge since Fowler in his prime. And as he's also rather instrumental in setting up teammates he could actually become a world class striker. Amazing pick-up by Rodgers it has to be said - his man-management skills must be his greatest ability as a manager I believe.
It's the face rubbing isn't it? Who wouldn't feel loved and important after having your faced rubbed by a slightly mad-looking, grinning Rodgers.
Wow. They worked their socks off. 4 of their players out run our top runners in term of distance. Yet to no avail.
Moral of the game? Run smart. Not run amok. 😉
I'd understand if Fulham fans were incensed with that photo.
I think that's not really because we were smarter, but rather because we didn't play up to the speed we could and should've have. Rodgers did mention that in one of the post-game interviews. One of our problems during the first half was that our guys seemed to have terrible first touches. Quite a few times, what would usually have been a simple control didn't come off and resulted in lost possession instead. Had we nailed that control more, I'm sure our running numbers would've been a lot higher as guys would've swarmed forward in support.
So in a nutshell, my opinion is that our numbers for that game are poorer not by design.

Get this whether you like it or not - I think Liverpool are the best team in the country at present. I love watching them.

[article=http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2558428/Premier-League-Stamina-speed-stats-midweek-fixtures.html]The pace of another transfer window acquisition, Ryan Tunnicliffe, would have given Rene Meulensteen a bit of comfort.
He made 51 sprints over the 90 minutes and covered 696.1 metres at full pelt. He was also clocked at 20.6mph, equal highest with Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.[/article]
552 metres in 1 minute?
I'm pretty sure that would almost be World record?
Yeah I know.
