For the first time like ever I was feeling quite convinced throughout the game that we'd probably win it. Ok, it got a bit late, but there's just so much class in our attack these days that you "know" they'll just score one more than the opposition.
Obviously Suarez is our star man but I have to say I can not recall a better finisher in our team than Sturridge since Fowler in his prime. And as he's also rather instrumental in setting up teammates he could actually become a world class striker. Amazing pick-up by Rodgers it has to be said - his man-management skills must be his greatest ability as a manager I believe.
It's the face rubbing isn't it? Who wouldn't feel loved and important after having your faced rubbed by a slightly mad-looking, grinning Rodgers.
