Team of the year has just been announced, I'm assuming the player will be later. How on gods green earth did Ferdinand make the team? Surprised Suarez made it, considering he's the root of all evil and all. Anyway, the team below.

Hazard, imo, doesn't deserve it ... He's been good in flashes, but not excellent over the course of the year as the others have, in general, been.

Ferdinand has been exceptional this year.
18 games won 1-0.
Thats not Evans or De gea's doing.

Yeah, Ferdinand has been excellent.

Surprised Zaha was PFA player of the year in the Championship.

Bale wins pfa player Of the year and the young player award.

I dotn understand. If not Suarez, it HAS to be RVP.

How in Gods name is Michu not in that side. What a joke.
And Ferdinand has been amazing at the heart of the champions defunct of course he makes it

Maybe they have a two striker limit?

So who would you leave out for Michu?

I have as much faith in players compiling such a list as a bunch of monkeys voting for a list of the top five books on Pericles. There was a player on TV the other week admitting that lots of his teammates were too thick and/or lazy to fill in their forms so the captain just made his vote the collective vote. And they complete the whole thing midway through the season - ridiculous.

Rather bale than any of the other cunts yes Ferdinand has been great this season I hate to say it tho

Bale, Mata, RVP and Suarez would have all have been worthy winners.

They're brilliant players who are playing amazing football right now. I wouldn't like to decide between them.

Coutinho's already as good as all of them. He will be in contention next year.

Given who he playa for, his price, the number of goals, the brilliance of so many of his finishes and the fact he did it against most if not all the big sides I think you just have to find a place for him in midfield, he's been the 4th best player in the league for me

He's just unlucky then.

When do the PFA votes have to go in? Is it March? Never Bale at that stage, it had to be RVP or Suarez.

Ferdinand has been 50% of "the difference" this season, can't believe that's in doubt.

As for Michu it has been reported a couple of times this season that his favoured role is the advanced midfielder role. Imagine a parallel to your own career where you find yourself to be fucking awesome in something that isn't supposed to be what you are good at.

I can't see him replacing Sturridge, Suarez or Couthino in the first team but he's the sort of guy we should buy to keep them honest and fill in during injury spells (bans!).

Actually I think the timing of it is what hampered VanPersie, he was in the middle of a barren spell in March and Utd got knocked out of both the Champions League and the FA Cup with him going missing on both occasions harsh considering how good he has been over the course of the season. Bale seemed to peak in March and was turning in man of the match performances every week but he wasnt nearly as good pre Christmas

Why they dont do this at the end of the season is beyond me

I have to agree, RVP should have won. Suarez isn't popular outside of Merseyside and Bale has been less consistent than these two.
