That's not the impression most have of Klopp though. To leave Dortmund after everything and just go to Bayern... would be strange.

I would say the same thing but he's German, can manage the biggest team in Germany etc ... It must have some sway.

Havent read the link but the story orginated from Matthaus and Hamann I think.
Pinch of salt and all that.

Find it hard to believe Klopp would go directly to Bayern.

I'd love to see what Klopp could do at Liverpool with the money Rodgers had.
I just love the passion and enthusiasm he has as well.
Would hate to see him managing another team in the premier league.
Can't see him joining Bayern.

IMO it'll depend on whether he wants to go straight into another job or wants some time off (which I could see him doing). Either way, though, if there's any kind of thought at the back of the owners' minds that they'd like Klopp to take over in the event that Rodgers doesn't cut it next season, they'd better be making contact with Klopp now.

I honestly don't see it after his devotion to his beloved Dortmund, it would be a massive kick in the teeth for them. Maybe much later in his career but I would be shocked if his next position was not outside Germany.

Didnt realize he only has 1 year left on his contract. Utd maybe after next season?
God I hope not.

Citeh have wanted him for a very long time. I reckon they'll make him an offer even ManUre can't match.

City have got a bunch of ex-Barca guys as part of the management team so there is a strong connection there but I seem to recall Pep saying he'd like to manage Utd a few years ago?

There certainly was some mention of it, yes, and if van Gaal has a poor season next time round anything's possible, but if I'm right about City's determination to get him (and as you say they have Beguiristain and Soriano there already) that offer will be one he can't turn down.
