Pep Lijnders watch

Perhaps to some extent, but it wasn't just that. Lijnders knows Bajcetic well from their time here, besides which this kind of arrangement is always going to be limited by who's actually interested in taking the player.

Binomial's real agenda behind that post is revealed in his final sentence. He decided long ago that Edwards and Hughes aren't up to their jobs and will lose no opportunity to bang that drum, rightly or (usually) wrongly.

He hasn’t been sacked as far as I know - those are headlines about him being “dismissed” (i.e. red-carded) 2 days ago.
Only a matter of time, no? I reckon he is going somewhere in the Netherlands or Belgium next and if he fails there he will be back as someone's number 2

He has been sacked. I have to ask, was he a good number 2 even?

Yes. Klopp thought enough of him to bring him back to the club after Buvac left. He doesn't seem to have what it takes to move up into the manager's chair, but that's applied to many good coaches over the years.

Bajcetic seem to have a bit of an issue with discipline and being on time. Maybe we thought Pep could fix that in a different environment.

He's just a kid. Would have been good to have Lovren round to beat him up, like a big brother.

He's a kid that everyone in the team says is late and always gets fined because of discipline. Can see why we wanted to loan him out for both game time and growing up a bit.

Not sure why they're continuing with him? Not sure he can be a #1. Pretty sure the Salzburg fans want him gone

More like a season to forget.

At this stage they're usually like 503 points clear at the top.

Geez… no wonder they sacked the previous manager, if he managed to lose the league from that position last season.

Leverkusen (A) next.

I read somewhere that RB Salzburg squad has 23 players in the 17-22 age range.

I don’t think winning the Austrian League is the priority there - for RB at least - that looks like a farming exercise more than anything.

Well Salzburg is currently 3 pts ahead of Leipzig on the Champions League.. Who are on zero points

It's not looking good for Red Bull overall...
