Media bollocks. We were 7 points clear, we just played first so they said it was 10 points clear we lost it from cos it sounded better for the narrative.

Yeah kinda knew that, we should’ve/could’ve been 10. Regardless, hahahahahahahahahah city.

That’s hilarious.

Every time I’ve seen Traore he’s barely looked capable of running with the ball in a straight line.

And today he goes full Mane on City.
That is strange, that guy scares the shit out of me, until last season it became clear that VVD can handle his pace. I actually wanted us to sign him up after Boro got relegated and he is one of those unpredictable types that you cannot take your eye of. Wolves for all their creative talents have slow build up, but he gives them that extra with his pace.

Would be great to get to the City game 8pts clear (with tough games against United and Spurs ticked off), and with them needing to win. It will open up the counter attack against THAT defence.

Anyways, 8pts is great, but we still have to play them twices, with another 30 games left.

They haven’t played anyone yet bar spurs, we’ve already ticked off arsenal, Chelsea and Leicester. Course it’s nowhere near over but we’ve made a fucking huge start. A proper statement.

Every team in the league is going to watch that game (and Norwich's), think they have a chance, and will set up the same way. 2 banks of condensed players leaving the wings to allow them to cross and counter, counter, counter! Hopefully a few more take wins off them so we can relax a bit more. They shouldn't be crossing to their midgets 30 times a game.

The number of yellow cards city got today from those stats, so glad that the refs are now taking notice of how city break up oppostion play by constantly fouling. Last season away to Spurs they were not letting Spurs even put three passes together and the ref never handed any yellow cards out.

If this form for both teams keeps up, we'll win the league with about 12 matches to go.

Bruce has never won against United as a manager. But he'll have extra motivation today knowing that a win could get him the job to replace Ole.

I am refusing to get my hopes up. We were 7 points clear in Jan. 8 at the beginning of October against this City side is nothing.

8 points infront of City after 8 games, fantastic start to the season.
How important could yesterdays winner turn out to be?!

You dare to even contemplate having any hope to get up in the first place? You should still be sporting a thousand yard stare and have all your curtains completely drawn.

This

Hopefully the players all realise this too, we could easily drop points to spurs and utd in the coming weeks and the lead could evaporate

At the same time you have to enjoy being at the top whilst it lasts
