Spurs destroying Chelsea, now 3-0 and could easily be 5 or 6. Son just burnt Jorginho when he had no right to run from wide right on the halfway line and go on to score.

A draw would have been better but this is next best.

I knew someone would start this thread after that Son goal.

Jorginho was snail like and David Luiz his old impetuous self. Jorginho should really have fouled him.

Spurs have looked very pumped up in this game, fit and aggressive in the right way. Could be a few more.

Now Alli misses a sitter. Absolute Romp. So much for Sarri's magic the London press were sucking him off for.

I think too many men in hazards side of the pitch leaves azpilcueta time and space to deliver a great cross to the big French dodo up front

3-1

Chelsea were exposed.

Put a quick nippy player pressing Jorginho and then running off him, and they will struggle to find forward passes and also defend.

Kante also looks out of position in one of the 'number 8' slots.

Delighted they lost their unbeaten streak. Now we gotta hope Arsenal take points off Spurs next weekend.

Spurs are annoyingly consistent. Just 3 points behind us despite us beating them and having our best start to a league campaign in decades.

I want to punch all the posters in the throat that were cheering them on against United etc saying they'll lose loads of points. Not happening is it? The cunts.

Agreed, although I still think they will have a rocky January. Every club knows they are fucked for cash and the wolves will circle.

And im not sure about this, but id be surprised if any of the other teams round the top have played 4 of the top 6 yet.
Weve played Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs and City.
3 away too.
Obviously we still have Everton and United twice plus Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs at Anfield and City away.
Lots of big games to go, but im so happy with our start.

Spurs have played us, City, Chelsea, United. They've got Arsenal next week.

3 of those have been at home, though.

Relax, Spurs have been impressive yes, but their squad is as thin as water, they will struggle over the next two months.

Arsenal are lucky bastards. Being getting bummed all half and then Bournemouth score a belter own goal.

Defender scores a scorching own goal from the edge of the box. I thought at the time, that kind of thing never happens for us!

At least Bournemouth get a deserved equaliser on the stroke of half-time.

Cherries equalise on half time. Arsenal there for the taking, although they could do their ‘usual’ second half burst of goals. Nice to see them falling off the pace.

Re: Spurs. It was a weird game to choose a preferred winner as it’s also good to have Chelsea hit some troubles. I’d rather Spurs were on our tails than those rent boys.

To be fair, all the big boys (with the obvious exception of United), have been annoyingly consistent this season. I'm sure other teams' fans are similarly annoyed at us for grinding out wins despite not playing anything close to scintillating football most of the time.

I was looking at Dortmund's record, since they are now well clear at the top of the BL. They grind out a lot of single goal wins too - luckily for them no-one else is doing that in their league and they don't have an oil team to contend with.

Looking at the 2018 Premier League Table, it would seem that Tottenham Hotspur are Manchester City's biggest Title rivals and not Liverpool
