Good he is always appalling in his first game back after a lay off, overweight sluggish and unable to control a ball, charging around aimlessly for about 60 minutes until he runs out of steam and has to be substituted with his face all red and his cheeks puffed out
Podolski and Giroud both starting for Arsenal today. Looking forward to watching Santi again today, what a wonderful player. Interesting to see how he reacts to Stokes style though.

I don't think it's as simple as that. They're booing because he refused Shawcross' apology at the time and clearly still hates the guy (see for example his distinctly frosty reaction recently to the suggestion that Shawcross might be invited to play for Wales). I'm not saying he's necessarily wrong in that, just that there's a little bit more behind the Stoke fans' reactions than has been suggested.
Yup - they're going to struggle to get goals much like we did last year.
