It would be so funny if the mancs fucked this game up, Fulham are terrible but you never know, hopefully Mitroglou can do something on his debut.

Everton spurs is a great game so far. Very easy on the eye, both teams pressing, but not with massive intensity, & some lovely smooth passing footy on display.

Look very evenly matched so far, but everton clearly the more dangerous.

I think it's a little scrappy. Everton the better side up to now. Should be in front if Mirallas and Osman weren't so greedy and wasteful.

Yeah, its a bit scrappy. Everton have been the better side and have had the best chances.

How big a shithouse is Eriksen btw? Chickens out of every challenge and has the same workrate as Balotelli.
Lovely right foot mind.

Everton clearly the more dangerous team against Spurs. Spurs as usual looking toothless. Scrappy game.

Spurs are shite. No way they'll finish fourth. It will be between us, Everton and outsiders Utd.

Where's lamela by the way?

Sherwood thinks he's injured.

Tim Sherwood says he has no idea when Erik Lamela will be able to return to the Tottenham team as the club’s medical staff continue to assess injuries to his thigh and back.

Lamela is yet to play for Spurs in 2014, having made his last appearance as a substitute in the 3-0 home win over Stoke on December 29.

The £26million summer signing played for 57 minutes in a training ground friendly on January 7, but he is yet to return to the first-team squad.

Sherwood said: “He’s injured. He’s had a thigh injury and he’s got a niggle in his back. We’re still assessing him, along with Vlad Chiriches and Sandro. They’re the three who are not available for the weekend [against Everton]

“They [the medical staff] keep monitoring the situation and I keep asking from an update, and they keep telling me that we’ll just have to investigate a little bit further. Hopefully we’re making progress, I couldn’t put a time on it.

“Sandro is another one who’s unfortunately out at the moment. He has a calf problem and we’re hoping to get him back as quickly as we can.”

Mousa Dembele is fit to return against Everton on Sunday, and Younes Kaboul is also available, while Andros Townsend could also be back in action after missing the last nine games with a hamstring injury.

“He [Townsend] in the squad so we’re hoping that he’ll be in and around selection,” said Sherwood. “He’s done enough training now for us to be confident that he can be dropped back into the squad. He’s looked magnificent.

“Has he been missed? The results don’t suggest that he has, but I think whenever you’ve got a player like Andros, he can change a game in an instant.

“It’s great to have him back and we’re pleased to welcome him back to the squad - but the rest of the team has done very well over the recent period.”

So it was £26 million rather the reported £32 million, eh?

spurs evertons is a boss game, scrappy as fuck but proper end to end at the moment, hahaha mirallas

Yep, thats my prediction aswell.
Still think Everton will drop off during the next months as they're starting to look a bit disjointed and Lukaku has gone off the boil.
Utd are currently putting an average of 1,67 points on the board, they 'll have to increase that to 2,29 in the last 14 games to get 72 points. That seems like to big a stretch..

Knowing us though it will be tight all the way in.

1-0 Adebayor

Better that Spurs win today than Everton, but I'm hoping for a draw.
Barkley to score a cracker

They've spent over £70 million on midfielders alone and the guy Bentaleb from the youth team looks the best of the lot of them.

They still won't finish 4th regardless of this result. They're shit. Everton are much the better side.
