There is no way a team like Fulham will let their key midfielder go with days to go in the window. We might as well post Bellingham’s stats for Madrid.

They did give up the fight for Mitrovic. 😛 I don't think we will be signing anyone before window closes though, just sharing stats, as usual - also prove that the standard of domestic league in which the player plied his trade previously shouldn't be viewed too negatively all the time.

Dont think Ward Prowse would have been anything for us given the other midfielders we’ve signed.

Haven't watched the game.

Is Edson Alvarez any good? Is he going to be a player we look back on and say it was a missed opportunity (for a 6/CB hybrid)?

I think Endo is a Milner like signing. What we probably need in midfield are younger players entering their prime.

Anyone watching footy for the past few years can see that ward prowse is a really good midfielder. The reason I'm surprised we weren't in for him is nothing to do with his assists and goals, it's how much ground he covers. Always in the top five for everything you'd want in a Klopp player. Apparently too old, but then we went and bought Endo. Really don't get it.

Current Brighton match scoreline kinda reminds me of the one they lost 1-5 at home to Everton last season.

Monchengladbach 0-3 Leverkusen after 60 mins. Interesting to see if Alonso can get them challenging for the title this season (CL qualification is probably the main goal).

Bowen did well in the build up to that, really punished a Brighton defender who went charging to win a high ball.

yea they seem to have these results in them, you could blame their CB for two of these goals though
They play such an attacking, open, expansive game.

Especially for a team with 2 golems for CBs.

They no longer have the pace/power of Colwill at the back. I expect more shocking results like this, especially when they have to play Europa midweek too.

this is the challenge of being a selling club on the rise, can you maintain progress with everyone throwing cash to take your players

Ings is injured like, he’s just seeing the match out. Definitely hurt by his own keeper after a few mins of coming on.

gollum masterclass
not so easy to be great against the low block

24% possession vs. Chelsea
21% possession vs. Brighton
6 goals scored. 😛
