What is wrong with people

“Just accept that not only are tManchester City the best team in modern football history by far, and that they have changed the way football is played in England, they also saved European Football, whilst Liverpool achieved in the same period one League Cup which they won on penalties.”

Wow.

Jonathan Pearce called us champions yesterday or something. The whole of bluemoon is in meltdown thinking the BBC and the FA don't melt steel beams. Example:

Hmmmm is football scripted slightly as in like the wrestling, how would a commentator make a mistake like that unless it’s already known who will win it ..
This year marks the 30th Anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster. Maybe some jesture by the FL,FA and PL combined to appease the scousers that the aforementioned(not PL) was allowed to happen due to their disregard to safety of all match going fans in the face of more profits. Maybe am being cynical.

---

Either BBC have really spectacularly misjudged the feelings of the nation, or they are infested with plastic Scouse fans. Either way ,they are so off the mark backing the cheating , murdering cowards

---

If I made such an error at work ild be sacked why aren’t these twunts that we pay for in tax ffs

---

I think it important that no one keep a copy of this until the end of the season and then tweet the fuck out of it in the highly unlikely event that Liverpool don't win the league.

Etc

So rival fans current feeling on us lot and our run of form..

Fully backed by the FA
Refs give us penalties for laughs
Darlings of the media
Manager never in trouble, no matter what he says or does
Stadium only full because of tourists
Can spend exorbitant amounts without FFP blinking

Id say we have definitely got all other fans rattled!

Blue moon,

liverpool 5
united 4
chelsea 4
spurs 3
arsenal 1
City 1

PL pens awarded, has a big effect, and is open to referee influence

The more this becomes a story the better. Refs will start assuming Salah dives everytime if this continues. At least I hope they do.

Well as virtually every fan in the country know he’s a diver it’s highly likely the refs do to.

Another one today, and one not given for a handball in the area by van dick. Apparently these things even themselves out

Thats all what I felt about United under Ferguson

Do they ever just think maybe people are so positive about us because it gets boring watching the same team pulverise everyone, setting the bar artificially high because of all the cash they pumped in over the last few years.

I don't think anyone is positive about us though.

Lot of fans seem to dislike us, and the pundits couldn't stop flooding their collective basements over city last year.

It is odd.
I seem to remember last time we challenged under Rogers we seem to have the good will of most fans behind us bar rivals.
There is definitely less neutrals willing us on this time.
There is no obvious reason for this as far as I can see.

Yea I'm not sure any fans have changed their attitude but this season it hasn't all been about City which is probably what pisses the City fans off.

They might actually be confusing praise earned through being more than their equals in the league with bias because it was all talk of record points totals and being peerless last season.

The likes of Arsenal and Spurs really don't want us to win, because they see us as playing in their in their ball park. They can rationalise being beaten by City's billions of petro-dollars, but seeing a team with similar or at least, achievable financial parameters win the league will sting more. In truth, I can empathise with that. Man U and Everton, well, we know and expect them to hate on us, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Honestly I think it's because if we won it, we'd deserve it.

We're not the plucky underachievers like we were under Rodgers. We only challenged that season because of a 14 game winning streak, otherwise we weren't in it.

We're actually the real deal now, and we have more than one mercurial talent.

We're on the up and that's why we're hated. We get the rub of the green in their eyes because they're actually watching us now and nitpicking every decision.

I know neutrals who want Klopp to succeed over the club. The fact that Klopp is so likable just further rubs up opposing fans.

Plenty of neutrals think pep is a cunt but poch and klopp have far greater reputations , as figureheads of clubs it goes some way towards garnering goodwill amongst neutrals.

I think neutrals appreciate that Klopp and Pochetino accept to work with what they have, while Pep and especially Mourinho is spending to much time targeting other players.

Nah theyre just sound people, perfect example being klopp celebrating the derby winner, Mourinho does it, the world thought he was a klopp, doing it for cunty reasons, klopp does it because he's caught up in the moment and nobody is arsed..bar Danny Murphy..

Many neutrals will only get behind a title contender if they're either unusual (eg Leicester) or exciting to watch (eg us under Rodgers or us under Klopp last year). They just envy and resent machine-like teams that seem to grind out results. I think some neutrals are a bit confused about us this year because sometimes we're incredibly attractive but other times we're just very professional. I suspect more will jump on our bandwagon if we're still in contention by spring.

I'm only going by what I've seen on YouTube, and many voice the irritation of not hearing the end of it if Liverpool win.
