I love that The Scum beating Cardiff 5-1 and Huddersfield 3-1 is a revelation etc and shows they’ve turned the corner. Conveniently forgetting they beat Fulham 4-1 under Maureen just three weeks ago

Its quite unbearable in the Norwegian media these days. Solskjaer is the best manager in the World now after these two wins. Utd are the best team ever, they just needed to be «set free».

It is quite unbearable. There must be some sports journalists which is underwhelmed by the quality of all these stories coming from various media these days. What an embarrasing wankfest. Today even one of the (and this guy has allways bee an huge Man U fan) journous is out there With a story on why there is so much hate towards the covarage and defending that the media is writing about this. And they complain that they sell less papers?? Clown.

Weirdly, one of my best friends is a city fan. He seriously injured himself when he fell down the stairs at schlake. I told Man city about it all and we raised thirteen grand to get him home on a hospital plane. He's still one of my best friends and he still comes round to ours most days but it was a life changing injury. It's difficult to describe but he was a very intelligent man and now he is an infant . My wife loves him and makes him sandwiches for lunch every day. I went on there and posted about us being above them and got banned.

Edit: Just googled it. The reports seem to be made up by the Jerusalem Post. Not exactly the most neutral source when it comed to Egyptian affairs, I guess.
I was going to start a thread about this yesterday ... so I'll add my 2 shekels.
Dabour is the striker being linked. I was shocked at the link because he's not fast or technical enough to play for us. Maybe a mid-level premier league team but I think he'd do better in a less physical league.
As for the story - it seems it came more from within the Egyptian twittersphere than the Israeli press, and the JP put 1+1 to get a story. I personally think it's more to do with pressurizing Salah, who still hasn't really made peace with the Egyptian FA or the Egyptian govt (who want to use him to increase their popularity but he's not interested). Basically, I think a complete non-story - about both players.
That being said ... the irony is that Dabour is a practicing Muslim Arab who was born in Israel ... Not exactly Yossi or Rosenthal! 😉

One story has this opening pragraph (my own translation) And this is from one of the bigger newspapers, not a fucking fanzine (fanzines are normally more balanced):
"Despite that the gap is still 19 Points to League leaders Liverpool and 8 Points gap to the important 4th spot, VG (here they via hyperlink they refer to a competitive nespaper story!!) could reveal that the Club is number 2 in PL during the time the Norwegian has managed the Club.
Only Tottenham has been better in the 2 games the 45 year old from Kristiansund has been in charge for the star gallery!"
This!!! Dagbladet's own journos could not dig up these fantastic numbers, they actually had to read them in VG. And then define two home games against relegation fodder as superior to i.e. Leicesters good wins to City i.e. Fuck the lazy substandard journos.

I’m might have to post some of the lines my City mate comes up with - we have a Melbourne based Facebook group - he thinks he the king of banter - but he’s actually as thick as pig shit.
Within a few reply’s - all he’s left with is “Champions”, “Murderers” & “losers”.
He’s really struggling at tge minute - because I’m ripping him apart on Brexit every other post as well - he’ll be on a watch list soon as he’s starting babbling about blowing up Parliament if Brexit doesn’t go through.
Ripping the piss out of him is one of my favourite pastimes of late - no end of amusement.
