Yeh, the impressive bit wasn't that Milik kicked the ball at him, it's that Alisson got to him lightening quick, and made himself massive. Milik took it well, and quick, but Alisson reached him so quickly and was so big that it wasn't enough.

Rival fans will want to play down the save but they are forgetting the context. It was the last minute of the game and the stop secured our passage into the knock out stages. They need to remember the shite we've had to put up with in goal for the last 5-8 years.

Alisson has created a powerful aura of confidence and people are buying into it. Hopefully similar to the one De Gea created for himself by making important saves time and time again. It's universal love for the Big Bearded Yellow Sexy Wall.

Luis Garcia is a Liverpool fan and you'd expect that reaction but from a "Man Utd Legend", it's truly uncomfortable. The guys at Red Cafe must be livid over this

Found a funny little Exchange of Words over at the Redcafe. Some of them see the light every other decade….. It is regarding Lukaku changing agent.

[bcolor=transparent]Maybe Mino told him that the only club willing to take him was some mid table PL club and he wasn‘t happy with that? [/bcolor]

[bcolor=transparent]- No one really likes a move sideways. [/bcolor]

[bcolor=transparent]- except our fecking midfield.[/bcolor]

I didn't know what you were on about until I realised that was Ferdinand.

In the comments someone mentions that Rio was a Liverpool fan growing up. Not sure if true or not but explains his love for us despite having played for 'them'.

Seriously, Phil Jones has now entered a whole new dimension in terms of comic ineptitude. It's hard to believe that there was such hot competition to sign him before the mancs got him. From his face to his feet, there's just 100% naffness.

Phil Jones' own goal last night was the first CL own goal United have conceded since Phil Jones' own goal v Benfica in November 2011

His tragedy is that he's just not quite bright enough to realise how stupid he is. That's evident in his reactions to each and every cock-up, where he's always looking round as if to say, 'Who did that?'

You just kicked the ball in your own net, mate - what the feck are you looking puzzled about???

This is a bit like when my wife turns to blame me whenever she makes a mistake...

Obviously she's a lot better looking than Phil Jones.

I've noticed that Pickford has the same puzzled look and little arms gesturing after one of his gaffs. Which there have been plenty off.

It was Romero who played not DDG but yeah I'd expect the keeper to not run out as far, Jones even managed to get ahead of his man to just slot it in
