Welcome @Mango Chutney

If, like me, you are partial to mango chutney, I recommend "Indi" mango chutney which is available in Home Bargains. It's lovely and I have built up a stock of it, in case it disappears from the shelves.

It's so delicious that you could spoon it up your arse without any ill effects.
Portly, you have to call it Home & Bargain fella. Only wools call it the new name.

Home Bargains has caused a bit of a dilemma for me. The town I live in is built on both sides of the River Wye. One side (the one I live on) has a Waitrose and the other has a Lidl or Aldi. It kept us all nicely segregated. Now we have a HB too and it’s encouraging mingling. No good will come of it

A Glaswegian friend of mine once, for no other reason than someone advised him, swerved that as a remedy & used this instead:

Needless to say it took the paramedics 3 hours to scrape him off the ceiling.

Reminds me of the time I went for a pee and ball scratch after chopping up some hot chilli.... and ended up in agony, tea-bagging a bowl of milk...

Puts me in mind of the Duke of Wellington who constantly resisted parliamentary bills for railway developments, on the grounds that railways "would enable the common people to move about."

How right he was. Vision like that is given to few of us.

I scratched my eye after chopping some chilies. Normally it's bad enough but I was also driving at the time.

Why are so many people talking about this shite? FFS, just ignore them & eventually they'll go away.

Apart from the fact it’s something women love (a bit of detective work) and involved famous footballers families, it’s also just a sensational way to out someone.

Not hard to see why it’s made headline news the world over.

Certainly more interesting than Kim’s new lipstick line of Justin new snickers.

Be nice to think that the slow (but increasing) drip-drip of articles and discussions about their tactical fouling have had an impact here, but probably more to do with Otamendi (who is often third-choice) being their only fit CB, Rodri not being as defensively sound as Fernandinho, so more attacks get through and their LB being shit.

Maybe someone should tell their new signing not to contribute to the drip-drip:

Rodri learning 'tactical fouls' at Manchester City

Manchester City are helping Rodri learn how to commit tactical fouls, the club's recent signing has revealed.

Rodri says "tactical fouls" are among the aspects of football he is learning since signing for Manchester City.
The midfielder, who joined from Atlético Madrid in July, has appeared in all eight Premier League games for Pep Guardiola's side this term so far.

Guardiola last year issued a strong rebuttal to suggestions from ex-Manchester United captain Gary Neville that City deliberately commit fouls to break up play. "We try to play, of course sometimes we make fouls. Never my teams are focused on making something wrong for the opponents," said Guardiola. "We try to attack, to play our game but never to do that to avoid what they do. It's never happened in my career and never will happen in my career because I understand the game in a different approach."

After City beat West Ham 5-0 in August, the club's former manager Manuel Pellegrini highlighted the number of fouls committed by Guardiola's team.
And Rodri confirmed he has been working on 'tactical fouls', as well as other aspects to playing a new position, since swapping Madrid for Manchester.
Rodri learning new things at City

"I think it's a big challenge for me because I never used to play this position particularly," Rodri said to ESPN FC. "I didn't have this exact role in the team. "We have lots of offensive players and many other teams try to counter-attack you and a lot of the time you're alone but it's good for me. I am learning new things, how to go, when to stay, when I have to do a tactical foul, when I have to jump. "It's good for me to learn these things. And for the team it's good because we need those offensive players to be able to play our game."

Liverpool the team to beat - Rodri
Defeats to Norwich City and Wolves have left City eight points behind Liverpool, who have a 100 per cent Premier League record, in the table. With neighbours Manchester United struggling, Rodri was asked if Jurgen Klopp's Reds should now be considered City's main rivals.

"I don't know, I had never been in the city before, I don't know how people in the city feel," he said, City having pipped Liverpool to the title by a point last season. But the team to beat is Liverpool now and that has been seen the last two seasons. They are the champions of Europe so everyone wants to beat them, not just us. They're a great team, they have improved a lot of things, they're a very good team, and they're the best team in England and in Europe."

From a uni rag mag years ago:

Quick and cheap cure for piles: remove trousers and pants, squat down till piles are touching the floor, put your feet on them, stand up.

Nearly got aids reading six posts on there. They of course think we are worse for it, rotating players to avoid cards etc. Genuine question, we don't do cynical fouls that often do we? Once or twice a game like most teams sure, but not more than that. It's so obvious with City though, like four or five times a half because they only seem capable of playing with their entire team in the final third.

We do cynical fouls as well, but more often than not it's players you'd expect those types of fouls from.
Fabs, Milner even Robbo and Trent.
