Other Cup Games

Yeah I don't mind them getting final cos City will hump them.

Quarters of the CL as well. And 5th in the league so they go in the Europa.

That should keep in the job for another season.

No Europe next season would be funny as fuck though - worth seeing Moyes sacked over.

Van Persie & Rooney would be off like a shot.

Millions in debt, no European football, best players gone, no fucker interested in playing for them.

If there is a god.... make it so.

^^^ LOL

It is just getting funnier and funnier. Slightly worrying is that he might get sacked soon and bacon face takes charge in the short term. Although that in itself would be a massive u-turn by them. @StevieM is spot on as well. I'd fucking love it if they missed out on CL this season (of all seasons) - This season is aces!

Those fans that are still backing him are kidding themselves, pure blind faith, you can't even look back at his history for any comfort/evidence that he will not only stop the slide but actually get them winning the big trophies.

Its a pity some of these games haven't been league games, we really need to stretch out the gap between us and them asap, get it to 10 plus points and we can all breath a little easier and laugh even more.

LOL.

Malaysian glory hunters deserting Man U. Application form to change fan clubs!

I am not celebrating. I am just laughing for the moment and loving it when the Man U fans are suffering for a change.

Yeah right! Playing duck all competitions bar the cl is probably best for their aspirations of A) signing talent in Jan and b) getting fourth this season. The more games they get the better for that massively average squad, I suppose it's reminiscent of rafas 04/05 squad in terms of quality and depth.

If they don't get 4th they bloody close to 4th.

Liverpool fans in my office are currently enjoying the banter now, but one of the Man Utd pointed out the other day that they will have the last laugh as there still is the (distant) possibility that they MIGHT win the CL when we get 4th place. That seems rather nonsensical now at the rate their team is going but I was wondering how the current Utd team would rate against our 2005 CL winning squad...

Í for one hope they smash Sunderland in the return leg. Hopefully with an epic injury time winner going into extra time + penalties.
Injuries optional.

Oh and we really should get at least 3rd Place just in case they win the CL.

Poyet was going mad, and rightly so, it was ridiculous. Some of the decisions during the last 10 minutes or so were pathetic.

Not that I give a fuck but Ferguson being in the stands probably doesnt help the team at all. So I hope he turns up for every game!

The best thing about this is that Moyes was Ferguson's pick, the fans feel obliged to support him because of that. Have to hope they continue their loyalty.

Some will, but many Utd fans are about as loyal as bucket full of snakes. They've grumbled about Fergie when they had (brief) blips under him. They've booed Sir Ryan of Giggs, saints preserve us. They're a bunch of cunts and what loyalty there is won't last long.

But they're different to all other clubs, they stick with their managers through thick or thin

As long as it lasts long enough, that's fine by me. Most seem to be saying he deserves another 18 months, how they can say that when they've shown no signs of actually getting their act together is beyond me. I'd give him to the end of the season and then review. He should never have gotten a 6 year contract in the first place, no manager should, not least one that is relatively unproven.

No, I hope the 2nd leg goes into extra time with the Mancs prevailing 3-2 at the end of that with a lucky deflected goal or an iffy offside goal.

Then they lose 3-4 on penalties. Young to miss for them and then dive and pretend he was tackled and demand a re-take. Then Rooney or Van Persie fluffs the last kick that would've levelled things up and sent the game into sudden death spot kicks. Preferably by placing a shot that sends the keeper the wrong way but which just nicks the inside of the post and spins out.

Give them some hope then send them crashing to the lows again. The best kind of torture.

I want them to lose/draw a few more games, drop out of the CL and fail to make the LC final thus precipitating Moyes' sacking.

I want Fergie to come back, sans back room staff cos they all got fucked off in the summer, and oversee the continuation of their slide until he too gets sacked.

THEN I'll be satisfied.

Oh and did you hear Moyes whinge after the match. He blamed the first goal on the ref giving a free kick in the centre circle! Pathetic

Plus their brand is now worth a couple of hundred million less on the stock market. They're still servicing a massive debt.

Not getting in the Champions League to provide them with the cash to service this debt and the inevitable further stock decline from them not qualifying is even more worrying - for them of course. For everyone else, its open season!
