Origi or Benteke

I'm going Origi for now, because I think the movement he offers is vital for us breaking down teams, that also coupled with the fact he's got a bit of confidence at the moment, and Benteke is a better option from the bench that Origi is.

I think this would be a good chance to play Lallana - Firmino - Coutinho again.
And then have both Benteke and Origi on the bench

Good question. I didn't want Benteke to start vs West Brom, but I understand why Klopp went with him rather than Firmino or Origi. I'm sure part of the thinking was that Benteke's height was supposed to help us deal with West Brom's threat on set pieces (well, that didn't work out as planned). On the attacking side, Benteke didn't score, but we created a lot more chances than in previous 2 games and you can see a certain logic in using a striker like Benteke when we are playing at home. On another day he could have scored and been the difference between 1 and 3 points, like he was several times already in his LFC career.

I would definitely not start Benteke in an away game after what we witnessed at Newcastle. We need work-rate and mobility. So I think the question should be Origi or Firmino. At this point I would go with Origi, as he is starting to pick up confidence. If it works out, maybe we'll end up with a situation where one Belgian striker generally starts our home games and the other one away ones.

Origi.

Though would like to see brad smith/bentakke in same team.

We may finnaly get to see what a Downing/Carroll combination could have been

Someone should tell Klopp Benteke is a statue

Origi looks very raw.

I will still play Benteke even though he has been rubbish for 2 games now, against world beaters Newcastle and WBA. He is still a goal scorer and having him in there is still a much better goal threat. He really needs to start becoming useful in terms of overall play or I could see him being shipped out end of the season.

Firmino, I have no idea what he does. He plays better when teams are more adventurous and when he has more space. Against teams coming to defend he is rubbish. He floats around effortlessly (he doesn't look like he is putting in any effort literally) laying off and providing little threat or urgency. He doesn't shoot, he always picks the safe options and fluff simple passes.

3 poor signings imo. At least at the moment. For 70mios. That's Suarez there.
