2 years ago we had sterling Sturridge hendo and Suarez all flooding the box

Recently we've no one else. Coutinho isn't that type of player, hendo has become more reserved because we're so defensively frail... And that was it last year

Ibe and firmino could be brilliant at helping benteke IF Rodgers allows them to play with freedom

Everyone is a yard off the pace. Benteke & countinho look worst for that, I think benteke may come out second half full pelt if he knows he's being subbed later on so doesn't have to last the full 45.

Coutinho should probably be swapped out & rested.

So slow and predictable when we start an attack. A trademark move: midfielder picks up the ball in the centre circle; Ibe goes into loads of space out wide; a defender hangs back. So the midfielder passes back to the defender, who then passes to Ibe, who has now had his space shut down, so he either loses the ball or just passes it back. That's what we do over and over again. There's a neurotic resistance to playing the simple ball, quickly, forward.
