I'm totally not arsed about Degen, but I really don't think that Dossena has been given a fair crack of the whip.

...in the gym.

Depressing, if unsurprising news. I mean about the dressing room and our finances - not the fact that those four particular players will leave.

Dossena has had his chances and he is shit. End of.
He's made a grand total of 28 appearances in 2 seasons at the club (only 2 this season), the vast majority of which were time wasting subs at the end of a game, and in that time he has scored 2 goals (can't argue with that for a defender). Let's not forget that he is a regular international (even now when he isn't really getting a game for us), had to adapt to a much faster and stronger league than Serie A and that when he 1st came he couldn't speak a tap of English and was prolly carrying half a stone too much weight. Also how would anybody feel being behind a kid and an often crocked Brazilian? That's enough to knock anybodies confidence.

I think given some sort of regular run (obviously being eased in), whether it be LB or LM that he could prove to be a good player for us.

put simple a lot of the fringe are thrown in either to;

a) kill time
b) save the game because the shit has hit the fan

never a good circumstance to be introduced to a game. on top of that you have to watch the likes of kuyt give disgrace performance after disgraceful performance. if you can't push yourself into the team when someone is stinking the place out then forget about it when said player hits any kind of form.

look at insua's performances of the past few weeks but dossena still hasn't got a look in. don't blame the fringe for the shit hitting the fan, that's just daft.

I agree with most of that, but he's not a regular international.

I suppose you're right as it stands right now, he was though and I think he will be again after the world cup, Grosso is getting on now.

last season dossena recieved it twice in the ass from a hull city winger whose name i dont even remember. the points we dropped there plus a couple more would have been enough to win the league. every minute he's had since has sickened me. seeing his smiling beaming face when he scored against madrid made me fucking furious. fucking fat piece of shit. who the fuck did he think he is spending that summer turning himself into a fat slow fuck. we paid for it. for his bullshit lack of professionalism. fuck him. i want him gone

In the summer Mark Mc said that G&H wanted Rafa to sell more players, but he wouldn't be given the money to replace them. The players mentioned are fairly useless however are squad is threadbare at the minute and this isn't going to help.

Pretty much, yeah.

Gerrard has been looking very miserable of late and I think is struggling to motivate himself as he has done in previous years, which I suppose is understandable. If Rafa has indeed lost the faith of an important part of the dressing room (i.e. not someone like Riera), I'd probably guess it to be him.

I have little sympathy for fat professional athletes.
oh except for ronaldo, fowler, molby, le tissier, barnes, ruddock, and donato. because they make up for being fat with other more important talents.

dossena wasn't as blessed with talent. so the least he could do was not be fat. i mean what the fuck dossena?

The lad who emails me the team has just sent some info,

Benitez has been told he has to sell 4 players in January Babel, Voronin, Dossena and Degen. Benitez has said he does not want to sell degen hence why he was on the bench yesterday he needs him for cover for johnson. Board have asked to justify why a player on 37 grand a week does not get in the squad. No news if he will be allowed to reinvest the money.

Benitez has been saying he has 3 20 mill players lined up in the summer but the joke in melwood is that he hasn't got a pot to piss in.

Rudd is a realistic target in Jan.

And he has lost some of the dressing room and i quote "Well the more important parts of it anyways."

Just passing on what i've been told this is all i know.

I like the bits highlighted
Blah blah blah.
He's overweight, he's incredibly slow, he can't tackle. He has been skinned alive by average wingers since he arrived here, Fagan (Hull) & Snodgrass (Leeds) to name but two. He's a steaming pile of horseshit and he is not fit to wear the shirt. He or his agent are in the press every other day trying to engineer a move away from the club. Whatever way you look at it, he has been a disaster from the very day he arrived.

He's actually one of my favourite comedians these days... wouldn't be a bad signing at all, he'd certainly cheer us all up a bit...

OK V , I will play.
I think (presume) it's RuudVan Nistelrooy.
As I did not correct him when I quoted and posted and I feel partly responsible

We're linked with a move for Scott Parker today, 6 mill.

Wouldn't mind that, miles better than Lucas. I'd also have Noble, as he looks like a cracking player in the making.
