I cannot believe I missed this opportunity. @Hansern played a beautiful defense-splitting pass from deep, setting me up for an open goal. Like Nunez, I hit the goalposts, only for @StevieM to come in and gently finish the rebound.

Oh mark my words, they will. Watch Jude/Trent work their magic on him in those little England groupies. Everyone already says he is the most Spanish of England players in the way he plays. I really do hope that "this means more" to Curtis. But I suspect that so many of you self-hating Scousers will be happy to see him leave for some fucking Charlie Adam type player.

It is a mostly pointless title but for the right player it will see them shine and appreciate the responsibility, pride and faith shown in them. Whilst it did the opposite last time, I think it is a powerful message to deliver.
