Minamino

He can be tired of the cup, but wont be cup tied due to the new rules.

Sensational, you can imagine every one of their players dreamt about playing so well against us that we’d sign them when the draw was made.

Dreams do come true.

Amazing story.

I'd prefer to buy an actual striker. Salzburg have one with a lot of potential.
Was waiting for this post. I knew you'd be a Haaland guy. I am so glad Klopp is a Minamino and Firmino so we can continue to win game after game.

Minamino's stats as an AM stand out. 12 goals in 32 appearances from that position is tidy.

And Haaland's stats don't stand out?

I think Haaland looks extremely raw, and Minamino looks very good, but that's still a very odd comment.

At that price, there is almost no reason not to buy Minamino. Haven't seen him outside the 2 matches against us but looks a dangerous and versatile player.

Haaland has a release clause of £17m, again a no brainer
Yeah it is. Not convinced. VvD gave him 2m and ran him down in another 8m. He's as slow as fuck. I'm not sure a goal poacher/inferior version of Kane is what we need right now.

Haaland is a great talent and his stats this season are through the roof. Still a bit raw, which is understandable given he's 19.
I dont think his next step in his career is a move to us. He'll be joining a club like Dortmund or RB Leipzig.
Raiola is his agent, and he's been quoted regarding the next step in his career and that it wont be to a top club, but probably a club that focus on youth and development.

They certainly do. But he is much less of a certainty. He doesn't look a very versatile, nuanced player right now. We showed him the same shot 3 or 4 times tonight, we were playing him into a weak spot in his technique. He looks more raw and currently the only thing to his game is to get goals. Its a great thing but he is definitely less ready to be in Klopp's team.

Yeah we seemed to show him on to his left yesterday

That Salzburg team would hold their own against a lot of top sides, and the quality of some of the players is without question.
Their scouting department is also second to none when you look at the players they have now, and some of the players they've sold.
Mane and Keita being the best examples, when it comes to us. Which nationality he has doesnt really matter, and he's now lived in Europe for 5 years.

He's such a Klopp player and playing in a dynamic team which is based around a lot of the same ideas and fundamentals as our own.
That, and his individual skills and potential, just makes this such a good move.

And for a potential 7,25 mill deal. Wowzers.

Can't wait, he'll give the changing rooms a quick clean before leaving and we can look forward to a shit nickname than Brendan will christen him within a few weeks

That's like being called "possibly the world's tallest dwarf"
Well, Asia doesn't have the richest footballing history on the world stage. Son will probably go down as the best Asian player of all time.

The best Asian players of all time are who? Son, Park Ji Sung, Nakata, Kagawa, Honda, Okazaki, Nakamura, Ono. No world beaters, but they all carved out pretty nice careers in Europe.

Very few have come to England of course.

Not expecting a huge deal from this signing. But if he's at the general level of any of these guys (or better), we should have a decent little player for a very cheap price.

If he's Son level of course, then that'd be incredible. Though I don't think anyone is really expecting that.

Could make his debut against Everton in the FA cup. He'll score a goal there, no doubt.
