I thought Lucas was excellent. In particular first half.

Tony it's all well and good having nice build up play, passing well and to be fair we defended well apart from the sloppy goal, but we can't create clear cut chances or fucking finish for toffee, been the story of our squad for fucking years now.

We hit the bar, the post, Hendo had a clear cut chance, moses hits de gea from 10yards - a foot either side and we score. That could have been 4 second half goals if luck was with us away at old trafford. It is not surprising our link up play between the forwards was a bit hit and miss with Suarez's first game back. Disappointing result but reasons to be positive after last Saturday's abortion

Thought we played quite well at times. Poor finishing and not enough quality in the final third cost us though.
Yet another horrible goal to give away.
Enrique is all to blame for dozing off.

Worst thing is the loss feel like a step in the right direction playing wise.
Luis and Sturridge showed some promise. Lets hope we've got our shooting boots on this sunday.

Chances were always going to be few at OT and we couldn't convert when they came. I'm not sure we could have played much better in build up but the strikers need to start finding the net.

Lucas was pretty good in the first half, I thought. His effectiveness waned as usual however.

You've just described what I said about poor finishing.

We've not been able to finish properly all season.

His 60 second cameo on the hour was Lucastastic.........passes the ball (under no pressure) directly to a United player; has the chance to redeem himself by tackling Rooney........misses the tackle, 30 seconds later has the chance to tackle Kagawa..........misses the tackle!

I think that tonight might have been the night that Rodgers has got the point that Lucas offers us NOTHING and if that's the case then losing tonight is inconsequential next to the fact that Lucas's days might be numbered.

I think our biggest problem right here and now is that Mr Rodgers has too many players who hes not prepared to fucking take off or leave out.
Primarily Gerrard, Lucas and Sturridge.
