We could do with a midfielder who can tackle without giving away stupid free kicks, read the play and close down the opposition. I don't think Lucas, Henderson or Allen are the answer. Hamann in his hayday would be great for this side. Allen was complete wank in the 1st half and Lucas was pedestrian.

Allen was shit and should have come off, in fact not started but Borini's career has consisted of around 6 games and did well when he came on. Not sure why he is being lumped in with Allen who needs dropping.

Why didn't you raise this with Kenny after he changed a fantastic system with Meirless, Lucas, Suarez, Kuyt etc at the beginning of last year? Why didn't you point out how the attempts to partner Carroll and Suarez were failing time after time?
