One thing VanGaal wont do is panic and get overloaded gong forward, hes mind numbingly cautious and he would rather lose playing his way than win by throwing caution to the wind. If we show the same intensity and workrate for the first 45 mins that we did last week I think we will score and then its game over. I think it will be 1-1 at half time and they will give up the ghost.

We need to press from the front our and keep them off balance as our defense is way too shite to be relied upon.

I reckon the crowd will fire them up and it will be a cauldron for the first half hour, we need to take the sting out of the game while matching then physically. Cant imagine Klopp will let our intensity drop these are the sorts of games he lives for.

The only issue here is that the OT pitch is a lot bigger, this means that the press has to be done right or they will stroll right through us.

It's six yards longer, one wider. Can't see that being a big deal.

If they were any good I'd be worried but we've seen time again that they're fucking awful

My nerves are shot.

I've had a seriously shit day (an almost never ending run of shit going wrong in stupid ways from the moment I got up & somehow contrived to hit my head on the beside cabinet, including a hose pipe adapter bursting apart & soaking me, the pressure washer stopping working leaving me with a car full of suds to wash off manually, & my three year old daughter sliding off the toilet leading to shite all over the toilet, then jumping around as she realised, covering most of the bathroom in shite also, & now something I ordered online arrived & is incorrect, for the second fucking time), needless to say, I'm majorly pissed off.

Add to that a loss tonight.

Which is exactly my thought process currently.

I debating whether I get completely pissed, or attempt to stay sober. I'm yet to decide. Given my shit willpower & a cellar containing a few crates of becks, that probably means I'm gonna get rat arsed.

Either you're halfway pickled already or you're going full Rasta.

2 nil up from the first leg.. not even we can fuck this one up...

Grab an early goal and we could really kill off this lot, could be a cricket score... 😀

I am going for a 3 nil victory.. the early goal will probably turn the game into a training session.. However me will manage to score another two, so successful in handing the Scum their arses on a plate

Same starting 11 as last week please..

I must be the only one with a bad feeling about this match then.

I wouldn't have announced my pessimism if it weren't for the ludicrously jinxy nature of your post... Straight off the bat boom ... Like a jinxy ttwat.

We're in the same boat. We'll contrive to fuck this up

It's the Liverpool way

Ditto.

If we were to make the final and meet Dortmund in a one-off match we'd have a decent chance, however over 2 legs I wouldn't fancy our chances at all. Next season perhaps.

Would we get the CL spot if we lose to Dortmund in the final and the are qualified through the Bundesliga?

I wouldn't surprise me to see Origi start instead of Sturridge. Work-rate is of paramount importance in this game.

Is it true that there is a banner with "Murderers" on the M602?

Liverpool FC fans heading to Manchester for tonight’s Europa League second leg were greeted by the insult “Murderers”.
The slur was painted on a giant banner hanging from a bridge at the end of the M602 motorway in Salford – the route many Reds fans will take if they travel by road to Old Trafford.
The banner has the date of the Hillsborough disaster - in which 96 Liverpool fans died - marked on it.
ECHO Liverpool FC reporter James Pearce and sports reporter Neil Jones were among those to spot it.

James tweeted: “Huge banner hung from the bridge at the end of the M602 reads ‘murderers’”, while Neil said: “Murderers” banner hung over a bridge on the M602 into Manchester.”
During last week’s first leg at Anfield – won 2-0 by Liverpool – Reds supporters faced offensive Hillsborough chants from some Manchester United fans.
The latest stunt has been roundly condemned by fans on Twitter – with some pointing to UEFA’s decision not to punish the club for the unsavoury behaviour of supporters last week.

Karl Hyland said: “This is what happens when uefa allow the fans to chant what they want they think they’re untouchable sickening.”, while Jacob Edwards posted: “disgusting behaviour from them yet again. UEFA should’ve nipped it in the bud last week.”
Ian Longland wrote: “why does that not bloody suprise me.sad what some ‘fans’ will do. Knocking em out of the Europa league tonight will show em.”
Yohane France said it was “pathetic”, while James Kirton said: “shocking!! I hope our own fans don’t rise to it but I’ve seen it before. Idiotic minority on both sides.”
Connor Johansen was one of many to see the lighter side, writing: “murdered their hopes in Europe mate weird that they shout about that #LFC”
