1. Gomez – for the 2nd game running was clearly our best CB. Made a goal-saving tackle and was one of the few players who didn't get the wind knocked out of him after Alisson's error and kept positive and aggressive attitude throughout.
2. Milner – yes, he had little gas in the tank in the last 15 minutes, but his effort was absolutely magnificent in the first 75. By far the best performer of the midfield.
3. Firmino – scored the winning goal and did by far the most work out of the front 3, with Salah wasteful and Mane strangely anonymous. When our attacking play threatened to become disjointed, he was the one player trying to stitch it back together.

Honorable mention to Robbo for another solid performance. Alisson was on course to be in the top 3, but the error really soured the mood. Cleared the ball long for the rest of the game.
