Bolton Wanderers eyeing permanent move for loan duo in summer
Liverpool youngster Jordan Lussey has impressed in Wanderers training

WANDERERS will convert the loan of Liverpool midfielder Jordan Lussey into a permanent deal this summer.
Neil Lennon confirmed the 20-year-old, who arrived from Anfield last week, will be available on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Lussey had worked with development squad boss Iain Brunskill in the Reds’ Academy and will continue to learn his trade, for now, in the Under-21s.
But Lennon likes the look of the Ormskirk-born playmaker, who also showed an eye for goal with a fine strike against Burnley in a midweek friendly.
“Iain has been looking at a few players of Jordan’s ilk,” he told
The Bolton News. “Jordan is on a free and we definitely like the look of him.
“He will be under Iain's tutelage for however long it takes. But he looks a good player. He has a bit about him and there is confidence about him already.”
Meanwhile, Ben Amos will be heading back to
Manchester United after the Easter weekend – but for how long?
Lennon confirmed he would not be extending Amos’s loan spell any further as Adam Bogdan and Andy Lonergan have now returned to full fitness.
But with both of his senior keepers out of contract in the summer and Amos also available on a free transfer, the Northern Irishman certainly isn’t ruling out the chances of working with him again.
“It's someone we will have to sit down and talk with,” he said. “I don't think we will be extending the loan again because Bogdan and Lonergan are fit now. But he has done terrifically well.”
After coming on as a substitute in the 4-1 defeat at Nottingham Forest, Amos has gone from strength to strength, conceding just five goals in seven starts.
And Lennon admits other clubs are likely to rival
Wanderers for the player’s signature in the summer.
“It is something that interests us but I am sure he will create a lot of interest himself with his performances,” he said.
“The loan for him and us has worked out very well.”
