Liverpool vs Man City

Getting the win is as much about keeping a top 4 position rather than keeping our defence of the title on track. We have no problems getting motivated for these big games and I think we'll win the game. Pep would probably take a draw, I mean he won't parrk the bus but I doubt it will be end to end or anything like it. I think Davies should start on the bench. Playing him is a bit like throwing him in the deep end. Yeah if he plays and does well then he's up and running but going from Preston then in V City is a big risk.Do we need to take such a risk.

I was going to post the same.

It's always exciting, waiting to see who is completely buggered.

We usually don’t properly release the information on who’s died until after the weekend.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Jordan Henderson and Andy Robertson line up at the back, with Ozan Kabak on the bench.
In midfield, Curtis Jones joins Thiago and Gini Wijnaldum.
And Sadio Mane is back in attack, taking Xherdan Shaqiri‘s place to start alongside Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.
Liverpool: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Henderson, Robertson; Wijnaldum, Thiago, Jones; Salah, Mane, Firmino
Substitutes: Adrian, Milner, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Kabak, Tsimikas, Shaqiri, Origi, Phillips, N.Williams

I think that's bollocks, weakening our midfield like that when we have 3 capable CBs available. Hope I'm wrong.

Adrian on the bench instead of Caoimhin. (Hopefully this makes no difference)

At least we aren't putting 2 x keepers on the bench just to make up the numbers.

3 capable Cbs who have never played together, and only met this week.

Against city, I understand the reluctancy to give them a baptism of fire

Regardless you could put one alongside Hendo or Fabs. None of them are inexperienced. Kabak has faced Bayern a few times never mind other top BL teams.

My point was Klopp has gambled putting 2 midfielders together as CBs vs. City. He could have gambled just the same with a dedicated CB and strengthened the midfield to help defend said defence.
