------------------- Mignolet

This is the biggest game of our season. We need 3 points to instill the belief in this squad that 4th is doable. A draw isn't a bad result, but a loss would be catastrophic imo to the confidence of this team and stories that will surely follow re: Suarez's future, 'No financial support for Rodgers' etc ...

Unfortunately, Froggie's squad is the best option we currently have.

---------------Mignolet---------------
Kelly---Skrtel-----Toure---Flanno
-----------Allen--Gerrard-----------
--Hendo-----Suarez----Coutinho
---------------Sturridge-------------

I'm wondering who the fall guy will be, Allen was apparently back but is being readied for the derby, Sterling was rested yesterday, Coutinho came off, while Hendo, Suarez and Strurridge played the whole game...

IF Allen's back I'm sure he'll start, Sterling to the bench and Hendo on the right. Not what I'd do but I think it's what Rodgers will do to strengthen the midfield.

Dont have a particulary good feeling about this game.
Lukaku up against Skrtel and Toure will be key, as will the midfield battle.
Sadly our injuries are on players that we would have needed badly on tuesday.

Hopefully Studge and Suarez scores more goals than Everton.

So are theirs. Arguably even more so ; Barkley, Coleman, Pienaar are all starters. Even Deulafeu, Oviedo and Gibson can be considered first teamers too now. Anyone want a guess at their team for Tuesday ?

No, and no. Gerrard in that position is courting doom and ruin. Push him forward and tell him not to come back behind the half-way line. But the personnel is right.

That's assured. He doesn't actually play even when he's on the pitch, he just runs about and the ball sometimes hits him and goes off in random directions.

His bemused sort of "why am I here?" look gets me everytime. He looks like he's just landed on a foreign planet, trying to cotton on to what everyone's doing running around chasing a sphere, and the only part of it he can fathom is that you have to hit the ball over a white line, any white line.

------------------- Howard

Hibbert ----- Jagielka --------- Distin ---- Baines

--------------------- Barry

McCarthy --------- Mirallas --------- Osman

------------ Traore* ---------- Lukaku

Bench : Robles, Stones, Alcarez, McGeady, Heitinga, Gueye, Naismith

* Assuming work permit and FA paperwork is completed in time.
